Park Tool Wag-4 Professional Wheel Alignment Gauge

> 3 dayWhat can I say, its a wheel dishing gauge. Its a pretty simple tool, but a necessary tool to have. It does what its supposed to, and since its a Park Tool I expect it will last. I wouldve given it 5 stars if I didnt have to pay $50 for such a super simple tool. I guess that Park Tool blue paint is really expensive...

> 3 dayPlastic blocks wont scratch your rims. I like this feature. I used this on 29 in rims. I had no problems. It works well. It is very sturdy.

Greater than one weekIt does the job, but adjusting the gauge is annoying because it moves as you tighten the knob. It can only really be used with the wheel in the stand, because you need to grasp the gauge with as many fingers as possible (to hold it still) while you rotate the knob with whatever leftover fingers you have left. The WAG 3 is a much better design.

> 3 dayI bought this after my disappointment with the WAG-5 portable dishing tool thinking it was going to be better. But it uses the same cheesy center probe as the WAG-5. This center post should have been something threaded, as one reviewer noted. Its awkward to get the center shoe in the right adjustment as it is currently designed.

> 3 dayExcellent product from Park Tools. It is easy to use and accurate. Within the matter of minutes youll know whether your problem is an off-centered/misaligned wheel or not. Of course, you will need other tools to center your wheel, i.e. Spoke wrench, ideally a truing stand or true the wheel on the bike itself, etc.

Greater than one weekParktool has nothing to do with this complaint. I just got this dishing tool and one side was scratched and a bit bent. It was shipped via UPS and the box is not damaged or mishandled.
