> 24 hourSo far so good. I can now charge both my EVs simultaneously as long as I keep the total current under 50A. I have it set to 48A just in case since Im not sure if the 50A rating is peak or RMS current. The cable looks to be built well and has not given me any problems in the last month. $100 is a bit pricey for a splitter, but its much cheaper than paying to have a second 240V outlet installed.

> 24 hourI needed this adapter for RV + EV charging at campgrounds when a 30 and 50 arent available at the same time. If Im using the AC, I tell my car to dial back the power to 20 amps. If Im not, Im a little more pushy on the amps depending on how long we are staying. So far, its worked a treat. Thanks!

> 24 hourI bought this product to split power between my trailer and an L2 car charger (6kw) so I could charge my Nissan Leaf without unplugging my trailer from the site power. It worked fine for car charging however a few months later the air conditioner in my trailer failed. we traced the failure to electrical arcing inside one outlet of the splitter, the one serving the trailer. The arcing damaged the cord leading to the trailer as well as one of two air conditioners on the trailer. It was caused by the outlet not providing strong enough grip on the plug of the trailer cord to maintain good electrical contact. This failure occurred with a maximum load of 4.4kw from the trailer. The other outlet (used to charge the car) did not fail. In short, my bargain splitter (around $100) cost me a $1000 new air conditioner. Be careful of this one in any but very low power applications. The plug should have been rated to 12kw (50A) but clearly wasnt up to the task.

> 24 hourI bought this because I wanted to use my 240v plug to use for charging my Tesla Model 3 2021 Standard Range Plus and mine Bitcoin on a 240v ASIC miner. Tesla charged at 16amps and the ASIC takes around 1,300 watts max. No heating of the plugs or cables even when both are plugged in and running. As long as you dont max the circuit, either, this is a great product. Expensive, but there are no other options, unless you make your own.
