The quality is top notch, and the safety features, along with the convenience features make buying this a no brainer.

Overall I love the car seat and love the features on it but I found it was a little confusing at first to install. Also the actual car seat is heavy to carry .

I purchased Primo Viaggio 4/35 Nido car seat with load leg base, Atmosphere November 2017, the seat comes with an expiration of 10 years. I am very disappointed not only in the quality of the car seat but the customer service provided by Primo Viaggio. My car seat lining on the inside of the seat has separated from the base and is off. I called customer service and was instructed to TAPE the lining to keep it In place ! Really after paying $350.00 and and not even 36 months of use I am to TAPE the car seat together? Very dissatisfied in the quality and the customer service. I would strongly suggest to choose a product with better customer service and quality . As this seat is used daily for the safety of my child. Primo Viaggio #1 safety is very questionable with this type quality when the company does not stand behind their product .. #BOOPrimoViaggio. Shame on you !!!

I really like almost everything about this car seat but as others have mentioned, it tips backwards super easily which is my reasoning for 4 stars. The handle can serve as a “kickstand” of sorts if you position it all the way back behind the seat but when setting the seat down, we are extra cautious to be sure we do not set it on an elevated surface (chair, table, couch etc.). At a doctor’s appointment, I brought my baby in, placed the car seat on a chair to get her out more easily (not having to bend down to the ground postpartum) and once I took her out and moved, the seat immediately flipped backwards. I understand the nature of the seat and did then but I was still shocked at how “back heavy” it is. Obviously, it tipping back while a baby is in it on the floor won’t hurt them, just scare them if anything, but off any other surface, there is actual danger.

I’m a certified car seat technician and also expecting my first baby, and love this seat for numerous reasons. The load led is a difficult feature to find, it’s very easy to change the angle of the base as needed, and it’s really nice to be able to move the seat straps up on an infant seat without rethreading them like most require. I bought it for myself because I plan on having more kids and liked that it doesn’t expire for 7 years, but was irritated immediately upon opening it when I discovered the brand new seat I paid $350 for was manufactured over a year ago. There goes one year of use! If I were to buy it again, I would NOT buy it Amazon, I’d buy in store where I can check the date on it. For this reason, I only gave it 4 stars. I’d consider sending it back but I’m running low on time and not entirely convinced the replacement would be any newer, based on how terrible Amazon has been lately.

Little expensive, but after reading the reviews on car seats, the one i wanted for my grandchild. Worth every penny!

Excellent materials, easy to use. Nice to get on of the safest car seats available right now on Amazon! Base with load leg was easy to install and fits securely. Sunshade/good is awesome!!
