> 24 hourAlthough the initial description for this Micro Case says its water proof, it is not. The in-depth description only states it is merely water resistant. Seems well built but I would be leary of encasing anything that will be damaged by the slightest of water if you are using it around water (e.g., a cell phone). Otherwise, it appears to be well-build.

> 24 hourI bought this case to store refrigerated code bag medication vials. The 1040 size was the perfect size, the case is high quality with secure closure and the rubber insert is nice so that vials wont bang against plastic and break. Great price for a great product! The only thing I wish it had was a nylon cord along with the metal hook, but its no biggie.

> 24 hourI use my smartphone while kayaking to track my voyage - using GPS mapping software (which not only maps but tracks avg. speed, top speed, etc). In order to ensure that my phone is safe during the kayak trip I use this case to protect it. The case works great allowing me to see the phones display even though it is totally water-protected. The case also is padded so it gives a certain amount of shock protection.

> 24 hourAfter a couple weeks I noticed that there was a piece missing out of the hinge. I didnt think anything of it even though I didnt drop it. I figured might have been a little defective in that area but it look like the rest of the hinge would be plenty strong enough to hold together. 3 weeks of use and suddenly the door popped open on the hinge side. I use it at least once or twice a week and every time I use it on in and out about 5 or 6 times. I always notice water gets in. And now the door hinge broke. Seems like the rest of the plastic is fairly sturdy its just the hinge is poorly made.
