Pelican 1040 Micro Case (Black/Clear), Model:1040-025-100

I own several Pelican products from large photo cases to small memory card cases. All have a durable matte finish. This 1040 micro is not the made of the same material. It is well made but The glossy finish scratches and makes the case very noticeable when carrying my phone and wallet in it. I would prefer a typical Pelican matte finish. Paying a few dollars more Is not an issue. I buy their products for Top quality that comes with a top end price

As always with pelican products, they just wonderful. Doesnt come with a lanyard like in the picture.

Sturdy little box, great for shipping or storing smaller items like watches or pocket knives.

I use this to tote around a small gimbal camera and a little tripod on a daily basis. Otherwise it stores that camera, my keys and fishing license when Im on my kayak. I keep it tethered to the boat. It has been solid and kept my stuff dry. Pelican is the way to go.

Bought to take on beach trip. Kept iPhone X in the case every time we went out in kayak, never a any leakage. Phone stayed completely dry!

Bought it to fit the magazine for my Ruger 10/22, and they fit perfectly. You can store up to 10 mags. I didnt test it for water resistance, but the construction is nice and the latch closes firm

Standard quality case you expect from pelican. I use mine in my day/weekend pack for hiking/mountaineering to protect a few essential items while in the elements. Pic with some common edc gear to help give you an idea of its size.

Holds galaxy note III with a otter box case about as snug as you can possibly get it. You may need to adjust the rubber after you put it in, and you might need something to pry it out of the case with since the fit is so tight.
