I bought these for modules I designed and built. These modules went through humidity and vibration testing in this case without issue. I would give it 5 stars but it had one issue during shock testing. The latches on the lid come unlatched if the unit is dropped with the lid facing towards the ground. It does stay latched though when dropped form any other angle. From an aesthetics standpoint, love that sci-fi/military green look. And the most important thing of all, NOT A CHINESE KNOCK OFF. MADE IN THE USA! Team America, F%c% Yeah! Id pay double price for that. ;)

Great unit .. cant go wrong with a pelican

Case is very well constructed and built to last. The foam was easy to configure but in retrospect, it might have been wiser to have gotten the padded dividers so reconfiguration is possible. Its possible to retrofit with dividers so nothing lost in getting this. Camera and lenses now have a safe and secure place.

Bear-proof and, so far, 2-year-old proof!

Twice After flights on the baggage belt one of the latch was open the TSA lock hold the other side.
