> 24 hourThese scissors with their wide handles and precision cutting edges work wonderfully well in cutting fabrics. These are the type of scissors that should never ever be used to cut anything else but your material fabrics. the serrated edges help grip the fabric and prevent silky fabrics from slipping out of the blades while cutting . I use them almost exclusively now for cutting my fabrics.

> 24 hourThese are my go-to scissors for fabric, quilting, and even trimming my hair. The teensy serrations grab just enough to make cutting slinky things (like satin--or hair!) easy. And they are absolutely sharp to the tip, and they stay that way. This is actually my second pair of this size since my neighbors puppy chewed a bit of the soft rubber handle of my first pair. (Lesson learned: keep these off the floor!) I love the oversized handles. My hands slip in and out easily, and I can cut without fatigue. Ive tried other outside of the box scissor designs and havent liked any of them. These Karen Kay Buckley scissors do not disappoint. I also bought two pairs of her little green-handled scissors for my hand-sewing (and for cutting my bangs!). The little ones have oversized handles too.

> 24 hourI have been using these scissors over the last couple of weeks while working on a quilt. While they are a nice size and seem sharp enough, I am not sure that they are the magnificent , WONDERFUL, perfect scissors that they are hyped up to be. They do an ok job, but I dont feel that they are as good as my orange handle ones. My fabric still frays on the edge and they dont seem to handle marathon cutting sessions like the Fiskars. I have to stop several times in an hour to dust the blades so they can continue to cut with ease. WIth Fiskars, you dont have to do that. I feel that given the price that I paid for them, they should have been better. I am really disappointed, but will hang on to them and throw them into my catch all quilting basket, and I will stick with Fiskars from now on.
