Easy to use and cut for my cake. Very sturdy and held up well.

I used these in an all vegan cake for a wedding. The cake was three layer all double layer. The cake weighed at least 50 to 75 pounds. It was very dense being a vegan cake. Which made it even heavier. The cake stayed together and I had to carry down two flights of stairs and drive it across town on a road with lots of bumps. The cake stayed and the cake was a hit at the reception!!!!! Great product I will definitely buy over and over.

Inaccurate description of product. These are bamboo, not wood. Bamboo has different properties unfit as a substitution for wood in many applications. They’re technically grass dowels.

They were a bit thinner than expected but thats just me being bad at math. The company definitely seems to be a little bad at math too as I read reviews saying some had received less than 50 in their bag but I was lucky enough to get 58 :)

I ordered 1/4 dowels…they got delivered …went right to work cutting and painting for my project..Went to assembling my things and not one of these rods were 1/4 …..had I not cut and painted I would have returned such a waste of my time and a big waste of money…BUYER BEWARE!!!

I used these to assemble a balloon cake topper, worked really well. The price was good since you get so many, can also use them as dowels for a larger cake.
