Inaccurate description of product. These are bamboo, not wood. Bamboo has different properties unfit as a substitution for wood in many applications. They’re technically grass dowels.

Most of these dowels are not straight! In the bag there didn’t appear to be any issues but when I had to start cutting them most tended to be bowed just enough to end up as kindling.

Beautiful sticks, nice size, no burrs or splinters. But there were only 49 and I needed 50! I’m not going to order 50 more just to get the 1 more I need!! Grumble.

I bought these to laser engrave so I needed them to be straight, and they are all significantly curved. Im sure they would still work in lots of situations, but if you need them to be truly straight, do not order these.
