Permatex 29040 Penetrating Grade Threadlocker Green, 36 ml

Great for keeping those pesky tiny knife screws in place. I purchased these to keep the pivot screws from coming loose on my various folding knives from constant use, and so far, it has kept them from doing so for quite a few months. just apply to the threads of the screw, then put the screw in and adjust to the tension you want. let it sit overnight to set and you are golden. No more loosening pivot screws from hard use. The added benefit is that since this is low strength, if you want to pull apart your knife for a cleaning or maintenance, its quite easy to undo with a screwdriver without stripping the screw head. The strength is more than enough to keep the vibrations of opening and closing from backing out the screws.

Perfect for securing a sight on a rifle. Secure but still able to use common tools to remove. I just trust Loctite and have been using it for ever!

This is the one you want for small (less than about 1/8 or 3mm) bolts or screws that you later may want to unscrew without stripping the head. Unfortunately, low-strength threadlock compounds are not easily found in typical retail hardware stores or departments, so buy some here and have the right threadlocker for the right application.

Your nuts will stay tight when you need them to, and break loose when necessary. Does what it says and its not too messy. Its not just good, its good enough!
