Permatex 29040 Penetrating Grade Threadlocker Green, 36 ml

Just enough medium strength thread locker. No need to overkill it.

I used to see this on the shelves before, but now I cant find it anywhere but on line. Its a good low strength thread lock for electronics and such. I was putting a cutting torch back together and it called for purple threadlock, so this is what i used. Check when you need on the Permatex website and if it specifies purple, order this iwth no fear.

For small machine screws in an environment where theres vibrations that might loosen them but that have to be removable for service the High or Medium strength thread lockers are inappropriate, this thread locker is just right and in the tube its easy to apply.

Great thread locker and a good value for a small tube.

Sometimes you dont need super strong thread locker. I repaired a watch recently that had loose pins in the wristband. The low strength thread locker worked perfectly to hold the pins in place. Item was shipped promptly.
