> 24 hourLove how well it works with the Petzl headlamp and how the power switch can be easily depressed even once in the case. Love the cord and how it wraps up out of the way, and also the clip and zipper

> 24 hourThe Black Diamond headlamp fits nicely in this lantern case. I hung it from the top of my tent and was very pleased with both the white and red-light illumination. It is really beneficial if more than one person in your tent that needs light vs wearing a headlamp or propping a headlamp on your bag.

> 24 hourMostly bought it to store my Taktic 450 and for use as a lantern. It exceeded my expectations. Its actually really bright and lightweight. My kids love using it too. I like the strap it cam with. Proved it in caving. Didnt let me down and kept my light clean from mud.

> 24 hourLight weight but made of heavy material, seems durable. Really handy to have around in case of power outage or for camping.

> 24 hourI love my petzl headlamp, especially with the rechargeable core battery system. Just unzip this little guy and put your headlamp in and your are in area light business. Simple and ingenious! I have gone through several LED globes that eat AAA batteries in no time. Disposable junk compared to this system. I highly recommend to any hikers / campers that already own Petzls.

> 24 hourWhen I saw this product I fell in love with the idea of it and had it on my wish list for some time. A few few weeks ago I was in a position to purchase it and can now say that I love it for what it is. I have a light duty bodied petzl which cuts down on weight, however felt that there would not be proper protection for it as it rattled around with my other small gear. Furthermore I wanted to have diffused light for my kit without needing to go out and get another light which would mean more weight, cost, and room. Also,I like good, long lasting gear and will pay for it if I have to. Enter the NOCTILIGHT. Added weight, cost, and room is unavoidable when looking to add to capability to a system compromise must be made. That said, the NOCTILIGHT didnt add much weight, gives a comfortable level of protected to my headlamp, defuses light effectively, didnt add much weight, took up little extra room, and is good gear that does not break the bank. Other things to note, the zipper is heavy duty, and the cord attached to hook has a strong return for its tasking, which in my experience means the elasticity of the cord will remain good over long use.

> 24 hourRechargeable batttery is brilliant - any mini USB cord plugs directly into the battery and the battery itself has a red/green built in to indicate charging status. But the real brilliance is that if the rechargeable is dead, you can use regular AAAs, so its awesome for endurance events. The lantern feature is a little hokey, but it does work.

> 24 hourVery versatile and extremely handy. Bought it for camping, and ended up using it the first time when the power went out during a thunderstorm. The next day was using it while working on my jeep. It diffuses the light from the headlamp very well. Giving an area more diffused light than the headlamp by itself. Using an opaque/frosted dome, to diffuse the light. Clever design. Well made. Expect years of issue-free use.
