Pewi Walking Ride On Toy - From Baby Walker to Toddler Ride On for Ages 9 Months to 3 Years Old

> 3 dayAgainst my better judgement, my wife convinced me we should buy this Ybike Pewi for our daughter. The reason I was hesitant in the first place is because I absolutely hate crappy China made stuff. This is no exception. The overall structural components are sturdy enough, for a light-weight person, but the aluminum screws absolutely bite. They are very fragile, soft and prone to stripping. Plus, if you have to ship 4 Allen wrenches with each unit, you are probably engineering it incorrectly. Ybike should take a lesson for IKEA, who, although dont make the highest quality stuff, do have the methodology down for using minimal tools and Allen screws for their products. Im rating it higher than I would normally, because if you can get it to come together without ruining the screws, then it is a great bike for a kid learning to walk. But I must say, Im very, very disappointed in Ybike for using China manufacturing to make this otherwise great tool. Lets face it, China-made stuff generally sucks. What happened to making products with pride and making them to last?

07-06-2025Our toddler used this Y-bike from about 9 months until he was about 2 years old. He used it both as a ride on toy and as a walker. It worked beautifully on our hardwood floors without any tipping over issues. The castor wheels really let him go everywhere without the frustration he was having with his other push toys and ride-on toys. His other toys, were really geared towards going in a straight line or maybe a slight turn, but most (and he had a lot of them) he wouldnt be able to actually change direction without falling over or getting off or standing up and jerking the toy to a new direction, then sitting back down. There was none of that with the Y-bike. He loved it so much that we just bought one for his younger cousin. Wish we hadnt gotten rid of his when he turned two...

> 3 dayThis was for a one year old boy and he loves using it in the house. He’s not walking yet so this gives him lots of mobility!

> 3 dayThe perfect push along and ride on for a toddler who wants to keep up with older siblings. Because this bike is on caster wheels it turns any way your little one wants to move, no need to understand steering maneuvers. Easy to put together. My only wish is that it were a bit sturdier with a higher weight limit so it would hold up to older kids trying to mess with it and have a longer life for the littles.

> 3 day1st bd gift for grandson. He loves it. Was able to immediately operate as soon as he got on it. Feet touched easily so he could push around on it. Sturdy materials, only negative it did tip over when going from one surface to another (hardwood floor onto area rug). Keep An eye on this.

> 3 dayWe gave this to our son when he was 14 months old, for Christmas. He is 32” tall and it’s a wonderful height for him to push around (so many toys are only for short babies!). Once his coordination gets better he’ll be able to ride it. It should also be a good height for that! The swivel wheels are really what sets this apart. They’re wonderful, especially if you’ve seen a baby play with a single direction push toy. This is so much better. We LOVE the pewi.

> 3 dayThis little contraption is amazing! My little one is still getting used to it but at 10 months hes walking with it to get places. The description says its great to help little ones learn to fall which I agree. Our little guy has spent so much time in his traditional walker not having to worry about balance and although he will make a pouty face when he falls, I know its good for him to learn balance. Assembly was quick and easy with good directions and pieces are numbered. Love the amazon price! It was $25 less than the price at our local toys-r-us. The wheels have a rubber padding so it wont mess up your hardwood floors and rolls VERY smoothly. However, it does make it go a little fast sometimes so I like to be close to my little guy so he doesnt face plant while hes still learning. Overall a great buy that I am very happy with!

> 3 dayPros: Sturdy, well made Moves in all directions, stimulates baby to keep his balance Fun, attractive to babies Easy to assemble Serves as ride on and walking toy Cons: Has flipped over a few times when two babies were playing together Can be dangerous if kids are playing with the same toy (the back of the seat can hurt) Kinda difficult to control the balance for early walkers (but they learned very fast) I have two of them and would definitely recommend. Just always be around to avoid any injuries if two babies are playing together/disputing the same bike

> 3 dayI bought this for our one year old granddaughter and it is a hit - she cant quite walk yet but loves to sit on it and scoot around. She can use it as a walker or to ride on. It is a genius invention with wheels that go any direction and its so stable with its wide legs. My friend who saw her use it immediately ordered one for her grandchild.
