......very muddy....I love bass but these just seemed to live in that area.....Not a fan so returned....I learned in the headphone game if you want the best you have to pay for it.....Enjoy

In 30 anni dascolto in alta fedeltà provando molte cuffie questa é stata la prima a sbalordirmi a primo impatto. Akg, Sennheiser ecc. ognuna peccavano in una porzione di banda...queste Fidelio sono incredibilmente bilanciate, analitiche ma allo stesso tempo riescono a suonar bene su tutti i generi. Bassi potenti e controllati, medi presenti ed alti dettagliati. Grazie alla loro bassa impedenza riescono ad esser pilotate egregiamente anche da dispositivi quali smartphone ma ovviamente danno il meglio di se con player in alta fedeltà. Personalmente le adoro abbinate al mio Cowon D2 con tracce flac senza lutilizzo di ampli o dac. I materiali sono eccelsi come la fattura. Straordinariamente comode. Partono già subito con un soundstage importante per aprirsi ancor più solo dopo poche ore di burning. Sennheiser HD 600, HD599 sono giocattoli a confronto.

Crisp, clean, not-harsh highs. Detailed, thumping, precise bass. And ever-elusive, meaty, vocal-clarifying mids. What more could you ask for (other than something not the size of a small planet; these are huge)? Even still, these are absolutely superb.

Great, neutral sound.

Vill bara nämna vad jag jämför med och utrustning i övrigt. Två system. Dac/amp: quad Vena 2 och IFI zen Dac/hörlursförstärkare. Övriga hörlurar jag äger som jag trivs med : Sennheiser HD 559. Hörlurar jag äger men inte gillar som har liknande problem: beyerdynamic custom one pro. Detta är ett väldigt stort headset även om kåporna är normalstora, tips är att kolla bilder på folk med dom på. Ljudet väldigt skarp diskant, på gränsen till att det skriker i öronen även vid låg ljudnivå. Går ej att lyssna flera timmar i rad med dessa. Basen är inte med i musiken, känns som den ligger vid sidan av. Testat flera genre men tycker inte någon känns bättre än den andra. Vanligtvis lyssnar jag på svensk pop, trance techno 1990-->, kvinnliga ballader.

Enough has been written about the excellent sound produced by these headphones. I just wanted to comment on build quality. Wow! What a fine piece of equipment. It looks and feels like something that should cost 100s of dollars more. My other headphones are from Audio Technica, Fostex, Sennheiser etc. This one from Phillips is beautifully made.
