I was certain Id regret the purchase, but in all honesty these are great.

I own plenty of headphones and these headphones are okay. They have very powerful bass and low end but lose out on the mids and some highs. For me the bass was clipping badly until i let them break in for 20-30 minutes. It clips a lot less but you can still notice it.

They sound great right out of the box. No need to fuss the with cable (although its sheathed so might make noise if you move around wearing these). I run them with oratory1990s EQ recommendations (you can find his recommendations and read about them on reddit) which takes these from this is good to THIS IS GOOD. But you should probably know that Philips plans on releasing a Fidelio X3 sometime in summer 2020, so these might disappear from stock, get flash sold, or you might buy these right before Philips releases a superior headphone (the marketing on them looks pretty good).

Bass is perfect, like anything else. Ears sweat from the sides but not inside. Ear caps are not big enough but comfortable. The band is also comfortable. Sound is impressive with good source, Im listen from Stx 2. It sounds without any specific signature, rich and natural, just like it should (in comparing with AKG or Beyer ). Scene is very good for this size. The best headphones for this price, and even more.

...damit definitiv nur für den Heimgebrauch. Sitzt erstklassig. An den Ohrmuscheln äußerer Ring und Gitter aus Alu bzw. Stahl, Rest Kunststoff. Ohrpolster sehr staubanziehend. Verarbeitung gut.

After seeing many reviews of headphones, I decided to take the plunge on the Philips Fidelio X2HR especially as the price is so good at the moment. What a fantastic set of cans! I am not an audiophile but I do like good quality sound and these headphones are exceptional. Great highs and mids but the bass is just so, so good. It is tight with such a wonderful quality sound!!!

Really great value for money. Acceptable for music, but these really shine for gaming especially. I do not like the material of the ear pads but I have gotten used to it, very well built and extremely comfortable for long periods. I use it with a beyerdynamic microphone extension that snaps into the input nicely. Great combo!

Los compré para probarlos. Tenía muchas ganas de escuchar la calidad del sonido en auriculares abiertos. Comparé estos auriculares con los que tengo: Shure SRH840. Qué puedo decir. Me gustó el sonido. No está tan apretado como en los auriculares de tipo cerrado. El panorama estéreo es más amplio, las frecuencias altas son más detalladas y más claras.
