Greater than one weekI have several hue lights placed around my apartment, but there was no quick way to turn them all on/off when exiting and entering the apartment. It would always require taking out my phone to use the Hue app or calling out to Alexa to turn the lights on. Now, placing this right next to my doorway entry, I can simply turn on ALL of my lights with the touch of a button. Whereas previously, my light switch at the entrance was only connected to one outlet in the room. This has made my hue light experience SO much nicer and I cant believe it took me this long to realize that this product existed.

Greater than one weekThis switch is awesome, it’s very easy to set up and works exactly as expected. My only beef with it is that now I have 2 sets of switches side-by-side in every room- the old ones that need to stay on at all times to provide power to the bulbs (for connectivity), and these dimmer switches. Guests have no idea which ones to use & end up disconnecting the bulbs half the time by flipping off the old switches. I wish Philips made switches similar to the ones another brand makes, where the new switch sits OVER the old one, forcing the old one to stay in the “on” position.

> 3 dayI had some bulbs that were quite far away from the Hue bridge. I bought this to plug it in closer to the bridge, thus acting as an extender to get a stronger signal to the lights that were having connection issues. Works well for this... although a bit of an expensive solution.

01-06-2025My home project earlier this year was converting a lot of my home lights to Smart lighting. For a while these were backordered and I had the simple one push smart buttons but mostly because I just couldnt access these. I wish I had started with these! I was able to obtain three of them. The plate was easy to install and looks nice with the existing hardware for a 2000s constructed house. It involves just screwing in a base plate and snapping on the top plate. The remote easily attaches with the magnet to the base and is very portable, attaches strongly to stay put but isnt so strong you have to wrench the remote off. Sometimes in the dark I have flailed at it and knocked it out of the groove but thats pretty infrequent. The settings are interesting - the top button can be set to either be a specific single brightness for a room/zone/set of lights, dimmer works well but is a bit slow in speed. HUE switches between a set of up to five scenes that you can program for the zone or room. I have my home exit switch which is in my mud room area set to turn off all lights after holding for three seconds and this easily lets me shut off all lights in my house on my way out. The HUE button is whats most convenient for my uses, because of all my rooms my bedroom has eleven separate lights (in a variety of towers, nightstand, accent lights, and torch). There are some times I just want to turn on a few lights when Im zipping in to grab something and dont want every single light on. The power top switch I have set to a nice incandescent color. For the scenes, I set the first one as a limited scene with just one tower and the torch so I get enough light to see by but dont have to turn on every single light. Multiple presses then go into my favorite four scenes afterwards. In essence this is a like a two button on switch where I can use the Hue to get to a more efficient pattern, all from one single switch site. I have these also set up for my living room, where power is the full shebang and then HUE is only a overhead light over my computing desk - which makes it super convenient to use one single switch site to control multiple looks of lights. Its so easy to swap things around once you have the switches in place. So far so good!

Greater than one weekWorks well. Sticks to the wall and the remote itself is magnetized, which is a really nice touch. The instructions are a little outdated however, but once I looked them up on hues website setup was very quick.

Greater than one weekSwitch works well. You need the latest app to be able to recognize and setup. After that the setup is easy. I bought two. Enjoy having a rotary switch for the dimmer. I replaced the orignal, square ,white version 1.

> 3 dayYes, they are expensive, but they do what they are supposed to do. If you have a light that gets lots of action on a daily basis from the regular house residents and guests, then this is the solution. This is needed to avoid that pesky flip of the switch to turn off the Hue Lights that should always be on. Heck I live in my house and at times STILL flip the switch by accident! :-). This will keep those lights on no matter what! If the switch is on, GREAT, no issues, but if someone flips the switch to off, then still, GREAT, the lights will still work as they should due to this module always being on. Folk complaining that they are cheaper solutions, are just just being too picky. I mean, this solution lasts for years on the battery before you have to replace it. That’s a long time and longer than some people keep their cars. You don’t hear them complaining about that large purchase and wishing they went for the cheaper solution. Just get it cause it works and will work for the time you have it.

> 3 day4 buttons, 1 dial. Each can be used to control a room or zone. Or, they can control one room or zone, using each button/dial to set scenes. I have already installed 4. They are great for zones or rooms that are visible from where you control the dial. I have a dial near my bed to control my bedside lamp, bathroom, sitting room and kichenette. I have another one at my door to control the same 4 zones. I also have 2 in my kitchenette: 1 to control the lights in all 4 zones and the other to control my kitchen equipment. Basically, I can control all lights from any zone using the dial, just like a phone would. If you are bothered by smudges on your switch, avoid the black one. They all work flawlessly!

> 3 dayI have several of these switches in the house so that we can turn lights on and off on opposite sides of a room. We used to have to go to the bedroom to turn on that light, go back across the family room to the opposite wall to turn off the family room lights and then use the bedroom light to find our way back across the family room to the bedroom. Now, we have switches on both sides of the family room so one sits right outside our bedroom door and the other where the regular switch sits. We also bought acrylic covers for the switches that are no longer needed because theyre replaced by these remotes.

> 3 dayI use these plugs to control and automate lamps. Theyre easy to install and configure. They work seamlessly with my Hue bridge. They replaced plugs from another brand that used a cloud service that constantly failed. Thank you, Philips!
