This is the bulb that I use in my range hood and I keep it on 24/7. It lasts at least 6-8 months before needing to be changed. Perfect amount of light for a night light over the range

We purchased this light bulb to serve as a night light for my son. The brightness is just what we needed: its barely brighter than a direct plug-in night light. However, one of our bulbs lasted one week. We have the light on for probably 11 hours per day, but the package says over a years life on 3 hours a day. Calculating a conversion certainly doesnt lead to one week. Thankfully I purchased two, so hopefully the second lasts longer.

It really is a dim bulb. I just dont think I can bring myself to say I love it about a light bulb, any light bulb. Oh, hell, I might as well give it the extra star.

It is not bright enough for a reading lamp but doesnt give off blue light so you can wind down for bed. **update** Bulb burned out after very low use. I’ve maybe used it 10 times for short periods but all of the sudden it would not come on.

Perfect for nightlights. I use this in the kids rooms. Other ones were too bright, this one is a good one. Not too bright.
