I love this pen. It writes very well. And I feel it moves very smoothly. I love writing with it. It is very easy to use.

Very leaky pens. If you enjoy purple fingers, then by all means purchase these.

update 22 Aug 2018. I a recent online article about best pens, this one wasnt mentioned. Obviously those folks made a mistake. These are the best pens. (end of update) I bought one of these at a local shop, did some extended writing with it, and compared to my other favorite pens. Its quite a good pen, and the ink dries rapidly which is a plus for us LEFT-HANDED WRITERS. If you have a good writing speed, like I do, you have probably experienced some pens that need a pause because of starvation at the tip. These pens have a generous supply, so the next step if you do a lot of writing is to also have a good notebook like a RHODIA whose pages are still designed for real ink. With these pens you can have a beautiful stroke, almost like a good fountain pen, and unlike many others, they dont leak in your pocket in hot weather. Only drawback is that the ink supply is a bit limited. Buy them by the dozen. The blue ones have a nice dark color.

Ive been a professional writer for 26 years, and for my money, this is the best pen Ive ever used. Skip free and so extremely fluid, its more like writing with a brush than a pen. And from a design perspective, the V Ball is simple, attractive, functional and very comfortable - a solid performer. Show me any Waterman or Mont Blanc that even comes close, and Ill buy it. But in the interim, at less than two bucks a pop, the Pilot V Ball sets the gold standard for everything a great pen should be. UPDATE: A tragic single flaw. Apparently these pens must be pressurized (probably explains why they flow so smoothly). As a result, DO NOT TAKE THESE ON AN AIRPLANE. Again, just speculating, but it seems that they most blow a seal . . . resulting in a leaky mess thats tough to impossible to clean. White shirts and frilly blouses - be afraid. Be very afraid. ;-) Despite that - I stand by every letter in my first two paragraphs. Absolutely fabulous pens.

The best micro-fine pen on the market. Sharp and the ink lasts a reasonable amount of time. Ive had no memorable duds in the 4 boxes Ive bought over the last 4 years.

I have used this brand of pen for over ten years. I write very small, and never have any bleeding or smearing issues except on very waxy paper. Writes smoothly and well in my Moleskine notebooks.

I write a lot and am very picky with the pens I use - these write like a dream! Great price too! Ive been using a more expensive type of liquid ink Pilot pen in recent years, but these are actually smoother and better. Its a joy to write with
