> 3 dayI love writing with this pen. When you start using a new one, it may take a few lines of writing to get the ink flowing, but then it starts immediately after that. The ink flows smoothly, and you get a steady dark line with a smooth, light stroke of the pen. Another thing I like about this pen--something I havent seen others mention--is the clip that holds it in your shirt pocket. Its firm enough that the pen wont slide around or fall out of your pocket, but its also flexible enough that you can easily position the clip on your pocket. And the clip is attractive too. Its odd to me how very few pens have a good clip like this! I guess people take it for granted, but I have many pens that write well, but the clip is unacceptable for shirt-pocket use, which is my normal way of working in an office environment. I think this is my favorite pen!

> 3 dayAs a writer, you rarely think youre going to rave about a particular product and then write a review about the dumb thing. But thats just what I am doing for the Pilot V-Ball, Extra Fine, UPC # 35200, Black pen. I have used one for over ten years and usually I cant find them in the stores and thus have to order them. Its OK and heres why. I am a consultant and keep a number of billable hours logs: Telephone incoming and outgoing time, client activities, and just jot-`em-down entries. What got on my nerves with other pens, was the resulting glob of ink if you held your pen too long in one spot; the uneven distribution of ink; the long drying time so that you wind up with an ink stain on your hand. I also write with my hand on the page and a glide stroke across it. Old habits die hard. You can hold this pen in one place as you ponder, its OK. The ink is as even on the beginning of the sentence as it is on the punctuation at the end. And the drying time is so fast a second after you write, the ink is dry. The most important aspect of this remarkable pen is the ability to lay the ink down in such a thin, tiny line that I get more compulsive-obsessive notes in the nooks and crannies of my logbooks. So there. An ode to a pen. If you like just a wonderful pen - this is it. Oh yes, for all you folks who still write longhand for the feel of it, and then the computer - this is still it. > 3 dayI really like these pens and the color. I think they write very smooth and consistent for the most part. Why the 3 stars is I do a lot of standing at work. I have accidentally dropped a few on the floor and they stop writing smoothly afterwards. I am not sure what causes this but I still think they are a good product overall.

> 3 dayI love love love this pen and the pretty purple color! This is my third box (because Im a teacher), and I will continue to purchase these pens as long as they are available. I only wish they came in a box of pink-- my life would then be complete! Ha! As a teacher, I do not like grading in red-- too harsh. But blue and black are BORING! So, purple it is!
