Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge (2023): FAA-H-8083-25B (ASA FAA Handbook Series)

I picked up this book to study for the Part 107 exam for UAV. I felt like it was geared more towards plane pilots, rather than UAV. It did go into more detail with items that were necessary for the Part 107 exam, but I do not feel as though it is completely necessary for the Part 107 exam. It explains weather very well, including how to decipher METARs and TAFs. It doesnt have any regulations for UAVs, so youll have to check out the FAAs study guides for that information.

This is the color version from 2016. I did not realize this was an older version, which, admittedly is my own fault. With shipping not a bad price, but can be had for $14.95 right now with sporty’s pilot shop

I have bought this book for my son. It is the mother of all Aeronautics books. It has a lot of explanation and details that can’t be found in another book. Highly recommended.
