> 3 dayI started with Dazzle many years ago and have been along for a sweet ride with Pinnacle Studios ever since. Pinnacle 25 has been great so far as we are overseas and pulling our various trip media into something which is reasonable to share with others. I am getting familiar with Iphone media formats as one of us has recently moved over from Android and GUESS WHAT?!?! Pinnacle 25 works with Iphone too. Lots of variation in media input as well as output formats. Great job gals and guys !

> 3 dayI havent seen such bad software since the 90s! Heres a partial list of problems I had with it: 1) Video clips got cut short when importing 2) Video clips got garbled after editing (ie, jerky, jumpy quality) 3) Screen recorder produced poor quality recordings - worse than many freeware programs 4) Preview didnt correspond well to video, making it impossible to edit with any precision 5) Program froze frequently 6) Tech support experiencing higher call volume than usual I would rather get a root canal than work with this software again. Luckily, I found a freeware video editor with a cheap upgrade that works vastly better than Pinnacle Studio!

Greater than one weekI have owned many versions of Studio (ultimate) in the last 15 years or more, and still have 18 and 22 on my wibdows 7 computer. I have also owned several versions of Power Director and a few other programs for video editing. But, Studio was always my preferred software. Until this version. 1. It came with around 100 extra titles, transitions and overlays that are placed on your computer desktop during installation. WHY? Each of these must be imported manually into the program. And, if you do not want half your desktop screen blocked by the files, you must first copy them to another location. 2. During creation of my first movie with version 25, I discovered that around half of the soundtract files would not download and play. This was followed shortly after by loss of titles and transitions. To get the files back I was directed to reset Studio. When that did not work, I was told to reinstall. For each of these solutions the 100 plus extras had to be reimported. The reinstall brought back the lost transitions, titles and overlays, but not the soundtracts. 3. I finally imported a family video on DVD last week as one file. Unfortunately, the sound became very high pitched like talking after inhaling helium. So, I re-recorded the family vidro from VHS to DVD in small sections and imported the smaller segments from the DVD. The sound was perfect.....until I started cutting and editing. Then the sound no longer matched the video segments. I gave up and used Power Director 20 for this video. 4. While working on the family video, before giving up, the pan/zoom and video effects buttons stopped opening the windows that let you do the pan/zoom and effects. No way to use these items. 5. Finally, the customer support are no more the mindless robots who send canned responses each time you contact them. AND, GUESS WHAT THE SOLUTION IS TO EVERYTHING. RESET OR REINSTALL. In over 3 months of using this version of Studio and asking (even numbering) questions, I have NEVER received a direct answer to ANY of them. Even when I continually beg them to answer my questions, I receive a canned response that explains how to take and send screenshots, reset, reinstall, and read FAQS on their web site (which do not address these issues but do tell you how to reset or reinstall the program. One question I asked was what is causing the issues because until that is determined and corrected, you may needcto reset or reinstall every day fir the rest of your use of Studio

> 3 dayIt took a while for me to get Pinnacle Studio 25 installed and then working. Once I had it installed, all my other applications began to work slow. If I printed a document, it would take 5 minutes to print. After a couple of days nothing would work. So I contacted Geek Squad and paid to have it fixed because their customer service was useless. Geek Squad remote couldn’t fix it after four attempts, so they told me to bring my computer in and leave it with them. They had to remove everything and reinstall my factory applications and I had to reinstall the applications I had previously installed. While I edited one video that took over twelve hours to upload, this product cost me too much money and time that I can’t get back. Thus, I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

> 3 dayI have been using Pinnacle Studio for a very long time, maybe close to 10 years. I have used it for personal video editing programs, and it is very user friendly. Recently, it was the editing and voiceover program I used for my podcast from 2019-2020, and it was great. I started using Pinnacle Studio 25 for my new podcast, and I was having some technical issues that kept me from doing any work. After the customer rep was unable to help me through chat, my issue went to their email support. The delay time between responses is absolutely horrible. Sometimes it takes more than two days to get a response from what I assume is an outsourced representative, and not someone knowledgeable about Pinnacle Studio. This issue started around late August 20022, and as of late October 2022, I am still trying to get the issue resolved (audio issues). Telephone support is just as bad. I have no problem with outsourcing customer support, but Pinnacle and its parent company (or companies) have decided to leave the solution management to people who are using a manual for answers. I have been unable to use the program properly for almost two months, and it is affecting the production of my podcast. I would recommend using Pinnacle Studio, but if you ever need technical support, plan on it taking an absurd amount of time to get resolved.
