The handle close to the dog is great for keeping close control without being bent over. Only minor problem is our lab sometimes steps on the handle if we are holding the end grip. Ring under the grip is great for holding a flashlight or clean up bags. The foam grips are very comfortable and make it easy to hold the leash even with the dog pulling. The leash has a little give which also helps with pulling. Foam grips also float which helps when she runs in the water for a swim.

Excellent dog leash . comfortable to hold. And it has another holding place close to the dog, which is excellent for problematic dogs.

So pros and cons: This leash is amazing, it’s durable. Easy to hold onto and grip and great for training Cons: I had this leash for 4 months, it was doing amazing however one day. My 7 month old pup while outside. I had turned away to go throw away some garbage and within 30 seconds, the leash was split in two. A few weeks before he had torn up the rubber/squishy part of the handle so it became just a rope handle. BUT keep in mind both incidents were done after being unsupervised for less than 30 seconds. SO this leash is amazing for chewers but only as long as you watch them when the leash is where they can get to it. Now I have a regulary, flat leash witch he can chew in even less time but I watch him at all times and keep it up.

I LOVE this leash this is my second time purchasing this leash. Great for training and walking, with the the extra handle makes it easier to control when in public or other dogs are passing.

I purchased this leash for my puppy after her bit through a retractable leash. It’s a lot of leash for a pug puppy but he will grow into it. The padded handles, reflective stitching and loop to attach poop bags are all great features. This leash is legit, and my pup knows it. It has changed the way he walks too! At 10 weeks he’s walking like a big dog. If you want a great leash look no further!

Very comfortable handles. The extra length over the standard 5ft leash is great as I’m over 6ft. Dog sometimes grabs it to play tug of war. Hasn’t damaged it at all yet. If she manages to, I’d buy another one the same.

I am in process of training 6 month old Labrador puppy who likes to pull when walking. The lower handle works great with easy walk harness, provides better control. Only improvement might be to offer a shorter leash, say around 8 feet as this one is 12 feet long.
