This set is fantastic! If you work with electronics, even occasionally, these are a major help. Great for removing small corrosion, rust spots, exposing copper on circuit boards. Just awesome.

they look pretty flimsy for 13-14 dollars. not to impressed so far but i just got them. brush end is about one quarter inch diameter and extends to around 3/8 inch in length.

I ordered the whole set just to get my hands on the fiberglass scratch brush for electrical contacts. I had ONE that I used for at least 10 years but I had to leave it behind at work when I retired. This set of 4 various-fibered brushes looks O.K., but I eagerly got out the glass bristle one and twisted out a little stiff bit, and went at a tiny rust spot on a knife blade. Bloop! The fibers disappeared up into the body of the pen. Turned the advancing knob on the top. Nope. Nothing. Took the end off and there was the bundle of glass fiber. It wouldnt move except for a tiny bit and turning the knob did nothing. So, I guess thats what I have. Nothing. Just a broken pen and 3 more types for which I have no use.

Got these for my daughter for Christmas, for her clay sculpting. She loves them! Pretty cool product for getting textures.

First time looking for something like this to clean hard to reach rust on tools. Ive only used the metal ones so far, and they work about as well as fine steel wool work if I could get it in there, except it takes about 10 times longer. The tip just feel out, because the mechanism that holds it in place is simply a short piece of piping that it pops into. Hopefully Ill figure out where I can find a similar tool grade tool soon. Update, after cleaning over 100 tools in the last month, using various different steel brushes, several very well made and expensive. This tool works better at certain things than even the best stainless steel $20+ single brushes. You cant move it however you want to, but once I figured out to use it in back in forth strokes, no longer than 1/4 inch, it works where others cannot. It also helps focus the brushing right where the rust is. Upgrading the review to a 5.

I used them for removing corrosion from leaked ni-cd batteries. They worked well.
