For whatever reason, peanut oil is not so easy to find at many local supermarkets. Planters is the brand Ive used my whole life, and will continue to use. Im particular about choosing the right oil for a given, and for stir frying, there is no comparing this to other oils.

I went to the trouble of calling the company, to see where the product came from. They said the USA. Well, it turns out they meant manufactured in the USA, with the peanuts coming from U.S.A., Nicaragua and Venezuela and Argentina. Well, I can live without homemade peanut butter, and this junk will be returned to Amazon.

I dont taste any peanut taste. Picked it because it is neutral, not corn or vegetable oil. Dont like the price. Wish it was cheaper. But will most likely buy again.

I use this to fry oysters as well as pan searing scallops. Low smoke and great flavor.
