> 3 dayGot this to POC an IoT raspberry pi system. It works fine. I can boot from the SSD (after updating the appropriate settings). For some reasons this review wants me to mention traveling and warmth, but neither are relevant to my implementation.

> 3 dayThis seems to be a really nice SSD. It seems to be of solid construction. It is small, just a little larger than a standard USB Thumb drive. I was impressed with the transfer speed when I loaded 350 GB of data to it. Actual times of around 7-7.5GB per minute from one external hard drive to this SSD. Given the age of the PC and the Ext. Drive holding the data, I am impressed. My only wish was that it had been C port capable. I expected it to heat up quickly and get very warm, I was pleasantly surprised at how little heat was present after some large transfers. So, I am quite happy with this purchase. If you need to take 480GB of DATA with you when you leave home, this is a good way to do it.

> 3 dayJust started using the drive today. So far so good. However, trying to register the drive was very frustrating. There isnt a serial number printed on the drive anywhere and there is no sticker or label either. Theres nothing in the packaging showing the serial. I had to use the cmd prompt in Windows to find the serial so I could register the thing. For anyone else who needs to find this, you can use this command: wmic diskdrive get Name, Manufacturer, Model, InterfaceType, MediaType, SerialNumber. Cant guarantee this will be the right number, so you may need to verify this with the manufacturer, but thats what Windows reports and what I went with personally. PNY should get this resolved.

> 3 dayI passed this by at its regular selling price, but when I saw it on sale, I didn’t hesitate. Now I’m sorry that I didn’t check to see if I could get two at the sale price. I simply plugged this into a USB 3.0 port an ultralight laptop with an Intel Core i7 running under Windows 10. Using Crystal DiskMark 5, this wonderful little drive clocked better than 400 Mb/S on Read and Write! I got this primarily for use with my laptop when I travel and do photo and video editing. It weighs practically nothing, is very small and fast. Everything I could want. I’m going to keep my eyes open for the next time it is offered at a sale price on Amazon and get a second. Jerry

> 3 dayThis little thing works great. Super fast. Better than the larger thumb drives I was using. Worth the change and extra size.

> 3 dayI have two of these drives. They are super small and work well. This week one of them failed and it was only 2 months old. When I contact PYN, I was told that my warranty was void because I didnt purchase this item from an authorized seller. If you buy this drive make sure you purchase it from Amazon and not a 3rd party seller. Update Nov 2020: My second drive is starting fail now. I purchased it June 2020, worked fine until a few weeks ago when it began randomly disconnecting from my computer. Exactly the same thing the other drive. Again, there is no warranty because I didnt purchase it from an authorized dealer. Would not recommend this drive.
