This plastic is nice. Excellent optical clarity and you can cut it with a heavy duty scissors.

If you intend to use this as a flat surface, it should work ok. I tried to glue and clamp it on a Chevy instrument panel cluster which is not flat and it kept snapping off even after clamping for 48 hours. The old broken cover I took off and was trying to replace with this acrylic piece was about 1/2 the thickness of this 1/16 thick piece, so just wished I could find a 1/32 thick product. Or like my headline states, I wish it was more pliable. I finally used a slow setting epoxy which did run on the inside of the acrylic piece, but when I left it clamped for 4 days, just to make sure the epoxy had cured, it did hold this acrylic piece in a curved positon. Not a perfect job, since I had epoxy that ran and several scratch marks from trying to clamp several times. Basically, it just was not thin enough or pliable enough for my project. It will probably work fine for any project that requires a flat acrylic piece. Not permanently curved.

So I used this to modify an old aquarium and turn it into a terrarium. Originally I was told to go with glass but I like keeping everything I own super light (I live up a flight of stairs) so If I can cut the weight of anything in a reasonable way Ill do it. Anyway this thing is a godsend. Im actually planning on buying 4 or 5 more of these things to modify terrariums. One disclaimer though I do not heat through the poly-carbonate, I heat through the class and I keep LEDS around this poly-carbonate. I do not have know knowledge about it being safe around animals if it is heated up in any way. Since I dont know for sure I act like it isnt. Anyway this stuff is amazing and I am gonna be a loyal customer for sure.

I used it to replace the broken glass on an analog meter that goes on a Collins KWM-2 Ham Radio Transceiver

So far I havent any dislikes. I use the pens on a sheet of Polycarbonate plastic. I place the plastic sheet over a crochet pattern which I use sticky dots to hold the pattern onto the plastic sheet, I then use the markers to mark the spot on the plastic where I left off on the pattern. No problem to pick up where I left off on my project and it keeps my paper pattern clean and neat.

I used this piece to form a border for my iRobot sweeper near my patio doors. Easy to cut and easy to glue to the edge of my patio door rails. This allowed me to be able to open and close the doors without interference AND prevent my iRobot from getting stuck in those same rails. I was able to cut several 3 borders.

Im unsure what these are used for, but I bought this to use for a diagram platform and it serves the purpose. However, I dont know if this was actually worth $10, but it makes a cool floppy sound when you wiggle it, which drives my cat crazy. He loves it.

I liked this plexi sheet because it’s easy to cut with a cutting knife and could cut it to the size I needed . I wanted to replace a try with a glass top that broke and couldn’t find the size glass. This works for me because it will never break.

Exactly what I was expecting when I ordered it. The edges were a little roughly cut, but otherwise exactly what I wanted.

Polycarbonate is a superior clear plastic sheet compared to Plexiglass/Acrylic
Sheets can easily be cut, milled, and drilled with any standard tools (hacksaw, jigsaw, snips for thin sheets, standard drill bit, etc.) without the cracking or fracturing you would find in Plexiglass. Additionally, Polycarbonate can be bent neatly. Thin sheets can be bent cold with sheet metal techniques, while thicker ones are easy to shape with the help of a heat gun. It is also perfect for thermoforming or vacuum forming. This makes Polycarb perfect for both DIY and professional projects around the home, shop, or for manufacturing.

Shatter Resistant & Strong
Polycarbonate has great mechanical properties, making it often considered as a safer option than glass sheets or acrylic sheets. Tensile Stress: 63 MPa. Flexural Stress: 90 MPa. Rockwell Hardness, R: 120

High Optical Clarity
Light transmission of 88-90%, tested at 2.54mm thickness per ASTM D1003

Electrical Resistivity
Volume Resistivity: > 1.0E15 Ohm-cm

Protective Film on BOTH SIDES
This product is shipped with a thin protective film on both sides. Please peel this off to expose the clear sheet. You can mark onto this film while working with the material, then remove it to expose a pristine surface.
