> 3 dayI had to add an extra washer to ensure it was properly seated, but once secured, these things are awesome. I actually used these to grind down some rough roots where I was putting in a koi pond. I couldnt get the roots cut back far enough and didnt want them damaging the pond liner or underlay, so I used these to grind them back. Even when used against roots and soil, these keep grinding away with great efficiency. Theyre extremely durable and tough, if used for only woodworking projects, they should last a very long time. These have exceeded my expectations and made my life a lot easier with the pond installation.

> 3 dayPomsare wood carving disc set of three came very quickly. Includes three separate discs for all three angles and fit a four and a half inch angle grinder regardless of arbor size because it comes with the adapter rings. The teeth are hardened steel and not diamond or carbide but should last a long time as long as I dont hit anything abusive inside the wood like a nail or stone. Gold paint finish is the flashiest grinder accessory I own :-)

Greater than one weekThis Pomsare set is a great value. If you do any wood carving this group of shaping wheels pretty much does it all. I’m new to two of the shapes - the flat wheel and the drum wheel. Now I’m hooked. I use dried driftwood as my wood source. And while it is inexpensive and ecological, the density of the wood varies throughout the logs. These had no problem moving from soft parts of the wood through the denser, harder parts of the wood. I can’t comment on the longevity of these wheels yet, because I’ve only tried them on one piece. But so far they seem to be staying plenty sharp. Oh, and these fit my angle grinder just fine (it is one of the major brands the vendor lists in their description).

> 3 dayWhen using this carving discs you need to get a good strong grip because this does tend to jump. They do remove a good amount of material.

Greater than one weekMy goal for this wood carving disc set was to turn a couple year old Bradford pear stump into a rounded bowl for a birdbath. I used these discs on my battery operated angle grinder. When in use it went through almost two batteries with not a lot to show for it. I dont have a corded angle grinder so power may be the limiting factor. However, the grinding blade got noticeably dull after my short 5-10 minutes of use. This could be because of the old age of the stump and hardness of the wood. When using the discs, be sure to keep it low or itll pull you left real hard if you apply too much pressure. In my use case, these underperformed a bit. But I will see if I can get a corded grinder to verify if power is limiting the capabilities of these discs.
