> 3 dayOur son is 19 months old and started showing signs that he may be ready to start potty training. I wanted a seat that went on the existing toilet, rather than a separate training toilet. I chose this one because of the reviews, and because it looks sturdy, simple and easy to clean, and has a little shield for pee, which seemed like a handy feature when potty training a boy. Weve been using it for about a week now -- were not hard-core potty training yet; just introducing him to the concept. Its working well! I need to find a stepstool or something thats tall enough for his feet to reach while hes sitting on it. And I wish there were little handles or something on this, too, to stabilize him a little. He always seems a little freaked out when he first sits down, and I think he feels unstable up there, with nothing around him and nothing to hold onto. Hes fine after a minute or two, though. We let him play with a toy or a book or something while hes up there, and hes fine. This little seat is also very easy to clean, and the opening is big enough so I dont have any trouble cleaning my son up while hes on it, but not so big that hes in any danger of falling through it. I bought a Command brand hook to stick to the side of the vanity to hang it on, rather than using the one that came with the seat -- I wasnt sure if that one would come off clean or not. My only other complaint is that the seat sticks to my sons legs a little, so when I lift him off up, the seat comes, too. Not a big deal, but that does seem to weird him out a little.

Greater than one weekFit great on my oblong toilet. I have it hanging on wall next to toilet. My 4 year old granddaughter uses it. Easy to clean.

> 3 daySeat is good and sturdy and when looking to purchase another addition we noted that the seller is stating it’s 60% off but it’s really only $1 dollar off compared to what we paid i about 6 months ago. Rate was 17.99 as of Sep 2022. I will be purchasing from another seller because of this inflated discount.

Greater than one weekI have to say, this is pretty great! Before buying this seat I looked at the reviews and some red flags that came up were people complaining that it was not easy to clean. Or that it did not fit their toilet. I for one have a round toilet and this potty seat is a little more oblong. But it doesnt make a difference!! I actually PREFER it to be that shape. Why? I am training a little girl and she sprays out of all the other seats I have purchased. It was a nightmare. So buying this one with the pee guard hoping that it will work. It DOES. and it is VERY worth the money! No more messes, it is much, much more comfortable for her to use because of its shape. On top of it IS easy to clean. It is ONE piece with two slots that come down where the pee guard is. All you have to do is wipe it out with your cleaner of choice. One more thing, the rubber grip is strong. It does not snap onto a toilet, but it is so so safe to use. It doesnt move at all. You wont regret buying this seat. It is 100x better than the cheap character ones from walmart, and better than the munchkin one from target, I promise.

> 3 dayPotty training for our Grandson had been a disaster and he was terrified to use any bathroom but the one in his home. He told us he was afraid of falling into the toilet and getting flushed down. We read hundreds of reviews about most seats being leaky, dirty to use and not suitable for boys. We finally bought this one because it was plain and simple and not too expensive. It has been fantastic - there is no urine build up under it, it does not have handles and just rests on top of the regular toilet seat. Ours is an elongated oval. When he needs to go, he carries it over to the toilet, places it on the seat and climbs on. No muss, no fuss. The trick is to provide a small step stool for your little one. They can use it to get seated, then leave the stool in front of the toilet to prop their feet on instead of just letting them dangle. Works great for us.

> 3 dayI really wanted to teach our 2-year old son to use the toilet once not first on a plastic potty then again on a real toilet. The first step was finding the perfect seat for him that could fit onto our toilets. I bought another product first that claimed to be for oblong seats but it kept sliding and really scared our son away from the toilet. I took a break for a few months while trying to find another seat that would provide a more secure base for him and came across this one. It sits perfectly and doesnt slide or swing around and my son is confident using this. In less than 1 week, he was using the toilet successfully for #1 and #2. It is very easy to clean with a wipe or soap and water and so quick to place or remove for when he needs to use it or the adults need to use it. The hook to hang it is so neat and allows us to remove it when he goes to bed for the night, for example. We have had the hooks in place for a few months - one on a wooden surface and the other on wall - and neither has shown any signs of falling so far. The splash guard is a thoughtful design too because he doesnt always sit still when he does a #1 so that prevents urine from getting everywhere. I really love this toilet seat and would not hesitate to recommend to other parents. We place a basic step stool in front of the toilet for him to get up and it works well for us. We havent tackled nighttime training just yet but when we do, weve got just the tool we need in this potty seat to get the job done!

> 3 dayGave 2 stars as I really liked how it looked and the cost but sadly didnt fit the toilet seat in the bathroom. Does NOT fit round toilet seats, only oval. Our toilet seats are round/circular, and it was way too long to fit. Going to find something else.

> 3 dayI got this for my 3 year old DD recently. I had tried a couple of baby toilet seats already but this is my first toddler seat and I was pleasantly amazed at the ease of usage and the size fits the toilets in all the three washrooms I have! It fits perfectly snug and doesn’t move ,the splash guard is amazing! It really keeps all the messes off the rim and my bath room is not messy anymore . I cannot comment on the usage on travel front as I have not tried it yet. I am really happy with my purchase ; highly recommend it .
