> 3 dayProduct has broken after a few uses. I have had it almost 6 months and used less than a handfull of times. The product has broken. Seller wasnt very much help basically told me to call power products who was absolutely NO help at all. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! They do not stand behind there products.

> 3 dayI was skeptical paying this much, but when my interior lights in my Cayenne suddenly quit, I couldnt find the problem. This tool pinpointed the problem within a couple minutes, no joke. Very much a tool thats worth the money.

> 3 dayI like this device, I’ve used it several times for home use. To use in a working truck shop, is not ideal. This should be known before it was bought. But this device led me right to the short which was draining my battery overnight. I would suggest this product for any small shop. Quality is just fine . If you treat your tools like your suppose to it will last a long time. My old set still works and I’m ordering the new set. Been 6 years I think. Read instructions and you’ll be fine.

Greater than one weekUnit may possibly be a used returned item. Bag that has the alligator signal clip was opened and it was missing a screw for the battery cover on the receiver. 1 set of “sunbeam” brand batteries installed in the unit and 1 set of “Duracell” batteries in the bag.

Greater than one weekI am a Power Probe fan and find that all of the Power Probe products are well built and work as described. This tool is one of those tools that when you need it you are at the end of your sanity chasing down an open or short. Back in my automotive electrical system training days I was thought to use a resetting relay and a radio to find electrical shorts, one step away from looking for smoke. When I had a short recently in my trailer harness this tool took me within a few inches of the problem, allowing me to open the harness and repair the short quickly. The initial use is a little cumbersome... meaning you need to read the short manual Lol but after a couple uses the set up and use is almost automatic. Another one of those must have tools if you own a GM vehicle and do the never ending electrical work yourself.

> 3 dayI spent entire weekend trying to find running light short on 85 chevy. Took so much apart and no luck. I have power probe 3 and though its amazing its not a short finder. Figured Id get this to help me find short and use in the future. Found the short in less than 10 mins and had to touch nothing. Moved absolutely nothing. Impressive how well it worked. I also learned you dont need this kit. Just buy the standard no case tool. Especially if you already have a power probe.

> 3 dayThis unit is great at locating open circuits or broken wires. It can follow the wire to the location of the break. At this price, you couldn’t get more than 2 hours of labor testing for break or short at most shops. You can fix these things yourself if you try.
