> 24 hourNice Hub with So Many USB Ports! Would have been even nicer if there was some type c connections as well. I did not have any problems transferring files among multiple external drives or multiple devices at the same time. I love the fact that I can mont this back of a monitor (with double stick tape) and have all the extra ports at arms length. Cleans up my work area, looks nice and clean and have a lot of extra ports for when needed. This hub is advertised correctly, the images are true. Highly Recommended. Packaging & Delivery:] The packaging is as expected and arrived without incident. Delivery was fast and as promised. [Summery:] All in all I am very happy. I am comfortable with the 5 stars. I have no problem recommending this hub or the seller.

> 24 hourWow. That pretty much sums up my initial reaction when I got this out of the box. This hub is just freaking huge (just over a foot long) and the 12/6A power supply is also large and quite heavy. The overall construction seems good and it seems to work well. Having the ability to easily add this many USB3 ports is quite nice in some situations, especially as they all should have a full power budget thanks to the large external power supply for the hub. For my own purposes, this is going to be a blessing for when I have to do an annual update of safety and training videos onto flash drives. I have typically been doing them in groups of four while watching TV in the evening, but being able to start 16 loading at once and then just come back and check on them is going to save me SO much hassle. Basically, this hub is massive and not for everyone, but if you need it, you need it, and this one should serve you well.

> 24 hourYou can never have too many USB ports. Especially high speed USB ports. The problem is that many USB peripherals draw power from the USB port and that can lead to problems. But this hub has an added power supply that feeds the ports extra power. Up to 6A of power @ 12 V which is 72W of additional power to drive those peripherals or charge your phone. This is a big bruiser. 16 USB 3.0 ports and 12 + inches long. To control the power, you can turn each port off/on individually. The push button switch for each requires enough force to turn it off or on so that you wont by accident turn one on or off by brushing against it. Youll also know which ports you have switched on as the port will glow blue when on. Most peripherals use the USB A connections that are on the switch. If you need USB C, adapters are inexpensive and plentiful. This switch works well for me.

> 24 hourPros: 5.11v power consistent to all ports Full-speed to devices Power off or Power on each port without removing the device Light indicating power or off for each port Long cord to the power supply and long cord from the power supply Cons: Nothing of note Item of Note: Speed will depend on how fast your device (e.g., USB stick) and how many devices are in active use, meaning how much data is being sent/received at the same time. Wow, this thing is a good foot long and looks great. Measured port power didnt fluctuate even with unpowered hard drives (like a WD passport) being connected) in addition to USB flash drives. File transfer speed was at full rated speed and was the same as if I had the drive directly connected. I tested with a very fast drive and a slow drive at the same time, as well as two similar normal USB 3.0 drives. I transferred data simultaneously without issue. Speed did vary as the full bandwidth of the computers USB port was shared among the devices. This comes with a 12v power supply, which has a long power cord to the supply and another long power cord, ending in a barrel connection for connecting to the hub. This should provide plenty of length for you to place it where need, although it will require being within 3-feet of your computers USB port due to the length of the connector. The connector is a thick USB 3 cable with at Type-A male end. Each port lights up in blue. If a device is in the port, you can press an individual button to turn off the device and it will disconnect from the system. Likewise, you can turn it back on again using the same method. Bottom Line: If you have lots of drives, drives that you use but not all the time, and limited ports, this hub can handle it. Power off and back on without removal the device.

> 24 hourI run a server that has two USB hard drives and 6 USB audio boards that provides 6 online police scanner feeds - this USB hub really helps keep me connected and still have room for more plugins.

> 24 hourThis is a lot larger than I was expecting, but its very nice to expand my USB3.0 ports. I like that it has individual on/off control for each port, and so far I have no complains. Speeds are good, and no connection issues or errors.

> 24 hourOK now, this is a big USB hub and just what I was looking for. This hub is just over 12 long and easily handles 16 different devices at the same time. I currently have 15 different devices plugged in and the ports turned on and have no issues. This hub is different from others that I have: - This hub is powered - youll need to plug it into a power outlet. All of the other hubs I have draw power from my computer. - You can turn on/off each port if you wish. I have the unit plugged into my tower PC and have a number of devices charging off of it including two phones, an Android tablet and a Kindle. Ive got an external floppy drive, an external DVD drive, 3 external hard drives, a Bluetooth adapter, a small vacuum and a mouse all plugged into it and no problems or issues. I included a photo of the instruction booklet only because I cant figure out what it is trying to say The 16 port USB 3.0 hub expands your computers Type-A port into seven USB 3.0 (Type-A) ports... Seven? I dont get why it says only seven when it is a 16 port adapter.

> 24 hourThis is a powered USB 3.0 hub 3.0 with ports. Now that may seem like a simple sentence, but it isnt. In fact, USB hubs that claim to support USB 3.0 do not. The Atolla hub does. In addition it is powered. That mean that you need to plus it in. Many hub use what is called bus power. That mean that the power that they use is drawn fro the computer or device that they are connected to. That can put a strain on your system if you are using a lot of USB ports for power or charging. Having your own power supply for the hub is nice. Atolla claims that the hub delivers 12V/6A of power. My testing confirms that. Also Atolla clams USB 3.0 data transfer rates. Again, I have conformed that. So far, the Atolla is stacking up pretty well. Speaking of power, the 16 ports on the hub are individually switched. That can save money and heat. When you with a port off, the led light for the port also goes off so that you can visually determine if a port is on or not. That is nice. Atolla also claims fast charging speeds. While that is true, the Atolla does not support the latest quick charging standards. In the world of electronics, especially consumer electronics, a lot of manufacturers make all sorts of performance claim that they do not meet. Im happy that Atolla delivers what they promise.

> 24 hourFinally, we have a nice station to charge most of our devices in a single, central location. Im sure there are other hubs like this out there, but its my first. I like being able to switch on or off each USB port. I dont understand why items like this dont come with mounting hardware so it can easily be fixed in place, but I cant deduct stars from it since hardly any power strips or things like that come so equipped. Thats just my preference. Overall, a good buy.
