The bag is made of pretty good material. It is too short for a suit or jacket but my jackets are pretty long, it may be OK for shorter jackets. There is one small D-ring (photo) inside to keep hangers organized, it would keep maybe 3 hangers under control. I have it hanging to air it out since it has a strong, unpleasant chemical odor inside the bag. If it airs out well, it will be fine for carrying a few shirts on a road trip.

I actually use this garment bag everyday to carry my suit coat into work from my parked car and it works great for that! The bag is sized perfectly for my business attire and being waterproof has worked extremely well to protect my coat while trekking to my office in inclement weather. I really like the fact that I can fold it and carry it like a briefcase without wrinkling my suit coat, as I have found that works much better than the straight hanging bags I’ve used in the past, especially when it’s windy out. The bag itself has a very nice feel and seems well constructed with high quality zippers and heavy duty stitching and handles. I am very pleased with this garment bag as it suits me very well, no pun intended!

This is a nice quality garment bag. It is always hard finding bags that are not just cheap plastic and that are not bulky. This one is a nice balance. Stitching seems to be durable, and all the materials are nice to the touch. Garments were secured inside and had no worries about them getting dirty or wrinkled. The handles make it easy to carry.

I received this garment bag and was very impressed with the quality, robustness and features of the bag! The material this bag is made from looks like it will last for years and offers great protection for the garments stored in the bag. Plus once you have all your clothes in the bag it folds over and zippers itself closed so it’s only the size of a suitcase. With two leather like handles it looks like a suitcase and makes it so much easier to carry to the car or hotel room. If you are looking for a good quality garment bag, look no further…this is it.

We live in humid, sunny Florida, so I needed a new garment bag in which to store my leather jacket. I read that oxford material is good in a garment bag, which allows items to breathe. Although the outside of the bag appears to be oxford cloth, unfortunately, this bag has a vinyl, inner lining. This is probably why the bag had a plastic smell. Im disappointed. Just the front of my jacket will get some air circulation. There is a small D-ring in the back side from which to hang a few things, so that if you wanted to travel, you can fold the bag in half and zip up each side. The leather handles feel pretty good, and the leather strip across the bag is a nice attraction. At one point, I experimented to see if I could add 2 more jackets, but the bag got pretty bulky and would defeat the purpose of allowing materials to breathe. It would depend upon the type of hangers used and the kind of clothing to be hung. Im not sure about the durability of the material for a lot of traveling, but I think it would hold up enough for mini trips.

Im not a frequent traveler, but I requested the Vodiver Premium Garment Bag for a trip Im making and for storage. Im fortunate in that I rarely need to wear my suit, but keeping it fresh, clean and wrinkle free is important. Its a nice suit and this garment bag helps keep it that way in my closet. Its also going to very convenient for my trip. It easily holds my suit, dress shirts and ties. It has a metal bracket that prevents it from tearing when I hang it up. It encloses my clothes completely and protects them whether it is folded or unfolded. Its well mad and the handles make it easy to carry. I received this to review, but for less than $25 this is a great buy.

I have always kept my suits in the bags the store gives you when you purchase the suit. Those work OK, but this garment bag is a clear step up from those. The material is much thicker and more sturdy than those free with purchase garment bags. The quality on this garment bag seems good. The material seems sturdy enough and the zippers are fine (not super high quality but perfectly adequate for something like a garment bag). A useful feature of this garment bag is that it is made to fold in half and then zip closed with a carrying handle. This would be very useful for traveling. There are garment bags which are higher quality, but those are significantly more expensive. This seems like a good compromise for something much better than the most basic, low cost garment bags but still budget friendly. Note the length (which is indicated as 39.4 inches on one of the images on the Amazon page for this item). My suit fits fine with about 4 inches of additional length to spare. That is for a suit for someone 5 10. If you are very tall, it is possible a suit could be longer than what fits and completely hang free. In that case, you may want to measure your suits length and confirm it would fit in the advertised 39.4 inches.
