For the cost the mat is a good value. The 3 flaps for the compartments are prone to constantly popping open, would NOT trust to keep any parts secure.

I gave it 4 stars because the little doors dont stay shut but other than that it is a great tool to have.

Just like the product pictured, My son and I are doing some hobby electronics, this mat is excellent for keeping us organized and the parts and table safe while we work.

This is perfect, highly heat resistant. Loving it. Really like the different magnetic sections. There are a lot of other ones but chose this because the 3 sections at the top have cover lids.

But does the job

Not bad for the price. One annoying things tho is that the lids dont stay closed; they have a knack of popping open whenever they feel like it.

Wish Id gotten one sooner, the ones I had seen that are nearly identical were a lot more expensive, but I never thought to look for an inexpensive one on here. The quality is very good, I see no obvious reason why I should pay 2x more for a similar item from a different, more well known brand name.

Great value for the price. Testing with the soldering iron, no visible damage at 300C, 350C starts to discolor and 480C its smokes and melts. Great for organizing parts and easy enough to wash off if you give it time to dry.

Love how theres a spot for just about everything I use.
