after always seeing these in youtube videos- in tech work and soldering.. i needed 1. placed my order, recieved wicked fast.. very scarey , was that fast. i have put every type of iron and torch to it.. mostly out of accident and not paying attention. POINT IS: VERY SAFE AND WILL KEEEP U SAFE! NO REGRETS!

Its pretty flimsy. Would be a lot better with tougher silicone. That said, it works as expected. The magnets are super handy. Its a great mat

I love this big mat and it keeps me from burning the table (wife is very happy about that). Its so so cheap in price but seems like it will hold up for a long time.

Probably the biggest mat you can get at this price. Has lots of compartments and magnets for various uses. I accidently stabbed a hole in it while prying something with a screwdriver. It holds up well to soldering though.

I actually use this for disassembling locks. The magnetic sections hold my screws and the numerous small recessed spots allow me to lay out the pins for multiple locks without risking getting some shifted around.
