It takes a special adhesive to glue silicone to silicone. 100% silicone caulking will not stick to silicone sheet. Amazon sells a special adhesive, but very expensive. My solution was to slit the silicone around the clean out fitting and fold up the edges. I then cut a plastic jar in half and placed over fitting. Any drips from above will be contained. The total volume of the mat will hold over 2 gallons, but must remember that if there are many containers on the mat the volume of water will be greatly reduced. If I had just a copper pipe in the middle I would make a much smaller hole and then slit the mat placing something under the slit to elevate that area and also place something on top of the slit.

We bought this product a while back and it finally paid off. Our garbage disposal broke and this liner save our cabinet .

This is an essential product that needs to be placed below all sinks. Within the last year, we discovered two slow under-sink faucet leaks…one of which destroyed the wall and the entire wood vanity as well as causing mold, requiring serious remedies. The other leak was discovered before too much damage could take place, so highly recommend this product.

Just installed my BASIN mat underneath my kitchen sink. We just installed new cabinets and wanted to safeguard our investment and have peace of mind that if something spilled it wouldnt damage the cabinet. Taupe color matched our cabinets beautifully so much so that you dont even notice that its there. Its soft and flexible. The smooth surface will make clean ups easy. We have a 30 cabinet and the fit was perfect!

We have a hot water heater under our kitchen sink & it started to leak. I do have a water sensor near the water heater but the mat prevented any water from damaging the cabinet. The mat has a tall lip around which helped contain the water.

This is a product that every home should have.

Nothing to it. Comes in a small box like one of those large exercise balls but thicker silicon material that flattened out without crease once placed under the sink. Esthetically and luckily complimented the white color of the countertop. Can not speak about its durability since we have only had it for a month and thankfully have not had any sink problems.
