Premium Silicone Under Sink Mat (Taupe, 31x22 (for 33 Kitchen Base Cabinets))

Easy to place, clean and move around.

It takes a special adhesive to glue silicone to silicone. 100% silicone caulking will not stick to silicone sheet. Amazon sells a special adhesive, but very expensive. My solution was to slit the silicone around the clean out fitting and fold up the edges. I then cut a plastic jar in half and placed over fitting. Any drips from above will be contained. The total volume of the mat will hold over 2 gallons, but must remember that if there are many containers on the mat the volume of water will be greatly reduced. If I had just a copper pipe in the middle I would make a much smaller hole and then slit the mat placing something under the slit to elevate that area and also place something on top of the slit.

This is a really great product for under the sink. We actually purchased a larger one for our kitchen because the sink base was warped because of a leak we never knew about. Well, I fixed the leak and removed the sink base and put a new piece of birchwood in and placed the mat over it. We now have one in the laundry room. As long as the sink connections are tight, I dont foresee needing the mats unless there is another slow leak, in which case they are extremely useful.

I purchased two of these to use in our newly purchased home. As my husband said, its not if there will be a water mishap under the sink, it is when will it happen. I bought one of these to put under the hardest working sink in the house, the kitchen sink. It fits perfectly, and I feel confident that it will protect my cabinet from water damage. Or, at least from most water mishaps. After all, it does have a water capacity limit! I purchased another to go under the laundry room sink, mostly because of the cleaning agents that are stored under there. We arent always perfect about wiping off drips after a bottle is used, and I think the silicone material will protect my cabinet nicely. The tray will be easy to remove and clean, as well. I am very happy with my purchases, and I am looking forward to having functional protection under these two sinks!

This was shipped quickly and well packaged. It slid right in just like they said. It could have been ½ “ bigger all the way around, but overall a perfect fit. So much easier to clean and catch any drips. And sure beats that flimsy, old wrinkly one I had for the last 7 years! The wrinkles NEVER came out and every time you moved something under there the whole mat shifted. AND when some dish soap leaked it went right through the mat! So yes, while this was a tad more expensive, the lack of annoyance is priceless! Seriously. I’m glad I found this.

Purchased to put under inside air conditioner unit. I have been caught off guard several times and unit leaked and caused damage. I have been looking for a solution and The Basin fits perfectly!

I really like the product but was disappointed when I ordered the cold taupe and got white. I needs to use the product now and dont have time to return to get the taupe one.
