> 3 dayonly am and fm mode. and it is not a pep unit..... the ten meter band is dead now... very low sun spot activity.. so if you get one of these radios. you will be talking to yourself.. for the next 5 years at least....oh maybe you can talk with your neighbor down the street.....

> 3 dayI’ve owned quite a few 10/11 Meter rigs in my day including a different President radio. The President Ronald is by far the most feature packed and infinitely variable rig I’ve owned. The mic is a little cheesy so consider purchasing a nice aftermarket microphone, you’ll be respected on the airwaves.

> 3 dayReally nice rig. The company responds to phone calls and has very good support too.

> 3 dayRadio is better than what I expected — it’s great! It follows in the President tradition of quality products. Look for the Youtube review, you won’t be disappointed, I wasn’t! 2 year warranty from President included. Need a HAM license to operate legally though!

> 3 dayThis radio is fantastic. It backs as many features as my stryker955. A little tricky to add Cb band. But gets out there tons of complaints on the air. Very powerful radio.

> 3 dayBought this to put in my daughters jeep, small size is great for modern vehicles. Did the resistor mod for CB and made adjustments in the service menu. You can find YouTube videos how to do this. I turned the modulation all the way up with high dead key at 7 watts. Mic gain all the way up with a tiny bit of echo. This thing rocks and swings to 45 watts easily. Stock electret mic sounds great. Doesnt sound scratchy at all, big clean audio. Got a second one for my dads jeep. Same price as cobra 29 and this little radio blows it out of the water. Update: I have 5 of these now. Plan on setting up a few of them mounted in ammo cans with a battery for portable operation when camping etc. Wire dipole antenna easy to make and keep in the can. This radio goes on sale from time to time for $99 if you are willing to wait.
