Prevue Pet Products Wood Mouse Hut 1120

::PLEASE READ:: I dont usually review products but this made me infuriated. I own two chinchillas and I was looking for a new hideaway for them. I was really excited to receive this product because of the design with the little windows. Upon opening the box I was disappointed. If I could give it less than one star, I would. First, the Prevue Hendryx website advertises this product as solid wood. LIE. This is made of glued together particle board. Then, there is the issue of the glue. Tons of wood glue and some of it exposed. The wood around the edges and holes was so rough and splintered and needed sanding. The worse part of all is that the entire thing is put together with metal nails. In fact, my hut has two sharp metal nails exposed on the inside. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMALS - JUST A LITTLE BIT - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

When I saw the picture, I thought that the product I would be receiving a bunch of different sized huts that could stack on top of one another, which the only reason why I bought it -- I wanted my mice to have something to climb and sleep on. But when I received the product in the mail, it was only a single hut (the biggest size) which I didnt exactly have a need for, so I returned it. So, just be aware that the product isnt exactly what it looks like!

Much smaller than I thought it would be

if my rabbit jumps on top near the open corner it falls over, not happy at all. neither is my bunny!

I got the guinea pig one for my dwarf bunny and she loves it. I needed this for her travel cage which is much smaller than her normal cage which has a home made tunnel in that she loves. This helped her transition with a little place to snuggle in and sit on and see out of the cage.

Very sturdy. My rabbits havent destroyed it, surprisingly.

Held together by very tiny, sharp on bith ends nails. Much chinchilla got injured by them. Blood everywhere. If you are a chin owner do not buy!

i only recieved the bottom section. it showes four levels. i would like to know what happened to the rest of my order

the hole thing was covered in splinters and the corners werent even lined up with clue seeping out everywhere. i spent an hour sanding it to even make it livable. Unacceptable

Only 4 stars because it wasnt nailed in all the way upon arrival, other than that my guinea pigs live it and the little hole on top to see.
