The picture is very deceptive. I assumed that the item would include the 4 levels you see in the picture, but you only get the base. I gave it two stars instead of one due to the sturdy construction of the base that was included. I would recommend TopDawg update the picture and/or description to clarify what you are getting.

I have three of these houses, 1 guinea pig sized one for my Syrian and 2 hamster sized ones for my Robos. They are a little expensive, but exactly what I needed. I have food and water dishes for my hamsters, and a reoccurring issue was the dishes having bedding kicked in them or being tipped over while the hamsters were digging no matter where I placed them in the cages. Along with providing a place to hide and sleep, these flat-roofed houses with a hole in the top create a second level where I can place the food and water dishes away from the bedding. Should last a good while despite getting slightly wet from splashed water and the occasional gnawing + peeing. Thankfully my hamsters arent chewing these enough to raise concerns about the unknown wood materials or nails and glue... yet.

the hole thing was covered in splinters and the corners werent even lined up with clue seeping out everywhere. i spent an hour sanding it to even make it livable. Unacceptable

Well.. I should say that my rabbit loves it. He likes to sit on it, meditate on and in it, and occasionally nibble on the frame. Well built and worth the money to keep the bunny happy!

This is great for my bunnies, and they love it. The bigger compartment fits them both, but it is a bit of a tight squeeze. The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars (4.5), is because the cut-out hole is too small for them to fit through, but they love to chew it. My buns love to run through things and look through holes, so Id say make the hole bigger so medium size rabbits (5-6 lbs) can fit through it.

Perfect size for Guinea pigs. The love to lay inside. Beware of the noise their chewing makes but eating wood is ten times better than them eating plastic like all the other houses.

my 2 guinea pigs jumped into it right away. they are having real fun with it through the doorway out the window. the house is good for 2-3 guineas. came fast- waited a week for it.

I have two little ferrets and I wanted to get them a hut of sorts. THis worked out great, and its not too heavy, they like to move things around on their own too so this was perfect. AND SAFE!
