Pro-Tec Double Down Knee Pad

These are awesome pads for little boys. I got them for my 5 year old and they fit him perfectly!

My kid uses these pads for everything from skating, skateboarding or bycycling. These wrist guards are also useful for snowboarding or skiing. The pads themselves are very durable as my kid has tested them many times. They have a few scuffs, but there is no damage. Knee pads stay in place because the bottom use a cinch strap, which keeps the pad from riding up the leg. All you have to do is bend the knees to put the pad back in the right place. The elbow pads and wrist guards are secure, durable and comfortable. They stay in place without moving.

My daughter just turned 10, not a tall 10 thought. I was a little concerned these might be too big, but they fit well. The big Pros for these Jr pads is by far the quality and comfort. If you have kids, like me, that have had the cheap starter pads from Target or Amazon that totally wore out and/or were uncomfortable, scratchy and slid all over the place - these are what youve been looking for. My daughter is much more comfortable with these, they dont move around and the velcro doesnt touch her skin. The fabric is a little hotter than just velcro straps, but she complained about heat in the old ones as well. Shes sucking it up. One other advantage is the recognizable name - we see the olympic skaters wearing Pro-Tec as well and that does help with the cool factor and that everyone needs to wear pads!

My son loves these pads! He is a big kid for 4 so I thought I would start him out skateboarding early. These pads are exactly what he needed. Perfect fit but room to grow! It’s hard to get kids not to use their hands when they fall and good pads accelerate that learning curve. The wrist guards are definitely helpful for beginners as they already prevented one certain E.R. trip! Great product!

We purchased this item for a 6 year old boy who is a bit skinny. It fits well and adjustable and he is able to put it on independently.

Bought these and the JBM set for my 9 yr old stepson. He thinks hes a pro and doesnt need pads but we dont want to try it out with a trip to the ER. These pads fit great. Great coverage. We ended up keeping both sets of pads and have the extra set for his grandparents house, but these definitely fit better and have better coverage.

These are great. They seem really durable for my 9 year old skate boarder. The wrist guards fit perfectly and have saved him from countless injuries. I did deduct one star because the elbow pads always seem to slide down no matter how tightly you strap them on. Otherwise, good purchase.
