> 3 dayThis is a comparison review with the Yaber V3 and Yaber V6. At first I purchased the Yaber V3 and that projector is an amazing projector, my favorite actually, but because it was defective with the update, I returned it and bought this Yaber V6. The Yaber customer service is excellent though, and gave me an extra 10% discount for the inconveniences. Thank you Vicky, you are amazing!! Now for the review. The pros: The menu is user friendly and has a better interface. At 7500 lumens it is bright enough to see in a fully lit room. The colors are vibrant and more true to reality than other projectors. The speaker levels can be manually adjusted to increase bass, treble, pitch, background, to help with whatever youre using it for which is great! After adjusting levels to my preference, I compared the speakers to my JBL handheld bluetooth speaker and the on Yaber V6 speakers were better! (Which was really surprising). The focus focus ring keeps the focus from the center to the edge of the screen. Even when the 4-point key function isnt adjusted to be a perfect rectangular screen, the picture isnt distorted at all, which is nice. The cons: Its large, measuring at 9x10. Its a little heavy. The height adjuster doesnt help that much because it is so big, so you may need to put a book or object under the front like I did it you arent using a ceiling mount. It isnt a short throw projector, so in a 10.5 foot room it can only project a 90x 49 display, compared to the Yaber V3 that can project a 120x 60 display from the same distance. The fan is loud, but isnt annoying. It sounds like one of those large square floor fans that cost $20 on high speed. When you turn up the volume though it drowns out the noise of the fan. You cant manually adjust the colors. You can adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation, yet not the red/blue/green colors. Its a tiny flaw that could easily be changed, but its just a tiny flaw. The picture quality is pretty good, but you need to alter the picture quality to adjust for the pixelation. With the Yaber V3, I hardly needed to adjust the picture quality at all and it was true FHD1080p. The Yaber V6 isnt FHD, but it is probably 1080i. When I play my PS4 games, the quality depreciates dramatically to nearly 720p which is unacceptable. It can only track 30fps (frames per second) and not 60fps so motion is glitchy and detracts from the experience. The Yaber V6 is more expensive that the Yaber V3 with the Yaber costing $210 with a discount, compared to the Yaber V3 that costs $80-$90 with a discount. The quality of the Yaber V6 does not match its value. Like I said, I had a phenomenal projector (Yaber V3) before buying this Yaber V6 so this one is the 2nd place brother in my opinion. Overall, If I didnt have a better projector to compare this to, Id think it was a great projector. Honestly, Id suggest the Yaber V3 over this Yaber V6 any day. Youll save more money and have better picture quality, short throw distance, and versatility in a projector.

Greater than one weekI bought this projector to replace another cheaper one from Amazon. The Yaber V6 has greater brightness than the other brand, for only a few dollars more. I used it primarily in my garage which has one normal-sized window behind the projector, and smaller windows built into the garage door. During the day, with daylight shining through the windows, the projected image can be seen on the white-painted brick wall. At night the image is bright and clear. I cant wait to see the image pop when I install my retractable screen. As for features, the V6 is simple in design. Two HDMI, A/V, and USB input to choose from. The remote is simple lacking dedicated feature buttons like other brands. I mostly use it to power on/off, input selection, and volume control. I use an Amazon Firestick with the V6 and it works flawlessly. The sound volume and clarity are very good for a single speaker unit. The sound stays in sync with the picture, no refresh necessary. One of the biggest features of the V6 is the four corners digital keystone correction. You can install the projector on an angle then pull or push the corners of the image to the size you want. Very easy to use and adjust. Unlike the cheaper projectors that dont have digital keystone, those you have to place the projector exactly in front of what you are projecting onto. Another reason I returned the cheaper one. This Yaber V6 has greater illumination as you can see from the photo taken at night in my garage prior to the return of the other projector. The brightness and quality of the image are apparent, even when seen on a brick wall. The left image in the picture is the V6 with a 130ish projection. Getting closer to the wall you can see the pixels of the V6 are closer together than the cheaper projector. This results in a way better image quality, as you can see. Even though both projectors are 1080p capable, the V6 has a better LCD with less pixel spacing and obviously a brighter image. This brighter LCD does come with a small price of a little more cooling fan noise and heat being pulled. The fan noise is negligible over the program sound. The V6 has wifi included and I used it to upgrade the firmware. The cheaper projector didnt have the capability. This projector comes with a nice backpack case which I dont plan on using since I will be hanging the projector from the ceiling. I wouldve liked to see another accessory instead, maybe batteries for the remote? This V6 projector from Yaber is a great buy and value for the price when using the promotional coupon. I recommend getting one or gifting one for a large living room, workroom, play room, or even used outdoors at night. For a small bedroom, for example, this might be overkill since you can only reduce the size of the image to 60%

Greater than one weekIt was very easy to set up and get going. Its nice that there are speakers built in and its quite bright. The screen correction is a great little tool as well. Looking forward to getting the 20ft screen set up and seeing what its actually capable of.

> 3 dayI owned two of these for less than a month and returned both. The problem, from what Ive read from another verified purchase reviewer on here who did more research into this problem than I have, is that the polarizing filter on the lens goes bad on these after 30 or 40 hours, creating dark yellow-ish splotches in the picture. If you are having this problem, you will see these dark splotches clearly on the white start up/loading screen. The other thing I noticed is that the review that provided this very helpful information is no longer there and Ive heard the company has been offering people money to take down there reviews, so keep an eye out for that white loading screen to see if the polarizing filter is starting to degrade for you. While being a reasonably bright projector, this is by no means an 8500 lumen projector...actually, Im not sure what the L stands for LUX or lumens, but Ive worked with $20k 8500 lumen Panasonic projectors and this doesnt get as close to as bright. It is a bit suspect that it has gained 1000L since I bought the same model 2 months ago ( if you look at the listing for the gold version, youll see the original specs on the listing ). Also, no where do they specify what the “L” stands for as far as brightness goes and its not listed in the specs anymore. I had never heard of LUX before I started looking at lower end projectors...Ive also noticed looking again at low-end projectors in just the last month many of the LUX brightness measurement claims have disappeared from many of the low end projector specs, so probably look for the ones that list lumens for brightness because its the standard used by professionals and those measurements have not disappeared from the descriptions of those projectors. I bought this because Ive owned the Yaber Y31 for ten months, running it for 5 or 6 hours a day and it still looks great...it is a little dimmer & louder fan-wise than the V6, but solid, with a better image control menu interface with more keystoning options. If you are looking for something in this price range, that one has worked well for me so far, but after getting two bad projectors with the same problem from the same company, seeing the changes in the listing, and seeing the one solid critical review with pictures disappear, Im thinking I lucked out with my Y31...for now...so Im adverse to giving them more money...or the same money for a third time. So if you are looking to get a decent projector, the good ones seem to start around $500 or $600; I would consult the B & H website; theyve sold quality professional video gear for decades, if they stock it, it is probably worth buying; I bought the BenQ TH585 and it looks great.

> 3 dayI think this is a great projector for the money. Easily and without any problems hooked up my Apple TV to one of the 2 HDMI inputs and paired my bluetooth headphone. I project the image to a wall about 9.5 ft away from the projector (i.e. no need for a screen) and, once the focus adjustment is made, the image is very sharp (especially when viewing 4K videos like those on Youtube). The contrast is very good even when lights are turned on near the projector. For picture adjustment there are a few preset options as well as user mode option where your individual (contrast, brightness, saturation, etc.) settings get saved. I did not quite understand why the hue could not be adjusted but even without that I was able to get a very decent picture. Sound quality is quite decent and does turn the room into a nice home theater but I suppose hooking up a (bluetooth) sound bar would make it even better especially for low frequency response (have not tried that yet). The fan is relatively quiet but still can be heard when there is no sound in the room but not noticeable when sound is being played back. The unit is very small and light weight. It comes with a nice zipper carrying bag allowing it to be easily and safely transported. Once you connect the projector to your wifi network and enable screen mirroring on your iPhone and select the projector, you can project your iPhone screen and this too worked for me just fine the very first time I tried it. I have not yet tried the USB inputs (nor see a need to). The remote requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) and is very small and works nicely. The instruction manual is pretty straightforward and accurate. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this product based on what I have seen so far. Note that this is my very first projector so I can not comment on how it compares to others in the market but, after performing some careful market research, I bought this unit due to its features (contrast ratio, bluetooth & wifi support, built-in sound quality, etc.), some nice reviews I read about its predecessor model that this unit improves upon and finally its reasonable price.

> 3 dayOK, I ended up keeping the Yaber V6 after I’d kicked myself for not learning a bit more about projectors before ordering. I was particularly frustrated to learn that a lumen is not a standardized unit. For example, a volt is a volt is a volt. If it wasn’t there’d be some nasty accidents but when it comes to lumens, for some reason there’s something other than the ANSI lumen and, not knowing this was my fault. I naturally assumed, the higher the lumens the brighter the image only to learn (after purchasing the Yaber V6) that 4000 lumens (ANSI) is way brighter than the 7500 lumens (LED/LCD...still not quite sure of the correct definition or how they arrived at the unit) that the Yaber has. I’ve since learned that 7500 lumens ANSI would be incredibly bright, way more than you’d need to watch something in broad daylight. Anyway, with that gripe out of the way, we use the Yaber V6 once the sun goes down outside with a 120” pull down screen. You can only just see the image before the sun goes down but the image is very good once the sun has gone down. Nice HD and one tip that maybe useful to some is: Bluetooth from your Firestick rather than from the projector. I ended up doing that as the lag was significantly reduced compared to Bluetoothing from the projector. The firestick, Bluetooth and using YouTube TV meant that all I had to do was put a power outlet in the ceiling, install the ceiling mount for the projector and hang the pull down screen. No other wiring required. All done for under $500, projector $211, screen $237, ceiling mount $19.99 and firestick $29.99. New power outlet was just a couple of bucks. So for the money it’s really quite an impressive set up (after the sun has gone down)

> 3 dayGreat initial image quality but after only 2 months, the projected image developed significant horizontal dark lines in the middle of the screen. Contacted Yaber customer support to exercise the 3 year warranty for a replacement and was told that none were in stock (even though its still selling on Amazon). They did not even offer another of their projector models. So I was supposed to wait indefinitely for a replacement, which I obviously wasnt going to do. I am now returning it for a full refund. Will update this review if they dont follow through with a full refund. UPDATE: I was refunded the full cost of the projector but was required to pay the return shipping (about $38 via USPS) which I had let them know when I emailed them the tracking number. A week and a half later they are now asking me to take down this review and are also saying they will give me $70 for my troubles. That great! But I will not be taking down this review. Buyer be warned, this projector is sold under a few other names: WiMiUS K1, DBPOWER RD828, TOPTRO X1 and Im sure a few others. Im quite sure Yaber does not actually make this, but only pedals it from a global supplier. Yaber is only acting as a salesman so to speak (along with all the other brands of this projector). Update 2: Changed from 1 star to 5 simply because of the outstanding effort in customer support. I was pleased to have received another projector after going through the trouble of returning the 1st one. The 2nd one had a jammed lens that required some effort to free but it works fine now. But i cant complain being that they provided it free of charge after the 1st being fully refunded. I will update to 3 stars if this one fails prematurely with more lines. Thank you Yaber customer support.

Greater than one weekI bought a few different models to see about setting up an AtmosFX projection setup in my house for Halloween. I bought two $100 models, and this one that was just under $200. For those that are looking at the numbers and dont completely understand, Lumens does not Equal ANSI Lumens, which also does not equal LUX. All can be shown as L. ANSI Lumens is a standard rating that is based on a number of things that are all measured. Lumens is a number that can be different from one company to another, depending on how they measure it. Lux is a measure of illuminance, the total amount of light that falls on a surface. LUX is not used by everyone, so it is not easy to determine either. This projector is overall close to 1000 ANSI Lumens, I have another projector that is 1000, and this is very close. The one difference is that the Projector blows out the bright areas, the edges of the image that would be brightest, tend to be very blown out. For my projection this works really well. The feature of the 4 point adjustment allows you to put the system off to the side and still square things up. It also has a zoom out to about 50%, so that it can throw a long distance. The menu system is a bit different than the other two projectors I go, but does work off the USB drive for the projections. A few other notes - There is no mounting points on the projector, so you cannot ceiling mount it without some sort of platform, although the software does allow you to invert, or flip the image. Projector fires almost straight out, so if you put it on the ground, it will have part of the image on the ground. The little foot to raise it, doesnt do much. Plan to put something under it to raise it up.

> 3 dayThis is my second projector. I purchased another one here on Amazon. And I returned it because the keystone was limited and the picture would get blurry on the outside edges of the screen. It also wasn’t as bright and sharp as I wanted. This projector basically resolved all those issues and it was around the same price. PROS - 4D Keystone adjustment makes it easy to adjust the screen to the exact size and corners of your screen without getting blurry. - Projector doesn’t have to be placed in the center. Because of the 4d keystone you can place this projector in a corner and just adjust the keystone to make it a perfect rectangle from an angle. - The sharpness or picture quality is amazing and HD. There is no blurriness when adjusting the keystone like you find with other projectors. - Loud speakers. Although I can connect this to my AV receiver using a Bluetooth adapter or wire, the projector internal speakers are extremely loud on their own. You really don’t need any external speakers if you don’t want or have them. - Easy to set up. I didn’t even bother reading the manual and I was able to figure out how to set up everything. - Works great with a tv stick like a roku. - All the ports are on the back so your roku or Amazon stick don’t stick out on the side and look unsightly. CONS - The remote isn’t back lit so it’s hard to see what you’re pressing in a dark room. - The fan is a little loud but eventually you forget it’s there as you’re watching your shows. - Bluetooth works but there is a slight delay which became annoying. You’re better off using the internal speakers of the projector or using a hardwire. - I noticed that HBO max and Disney + sound stopped working. I had to change the sound setting of my roku to stereo to resolve it. All the other streaming services seemed to work without having to make that adjustment. - You won’t be able to properly mirror certain streaming services using your device because they are blocked by those services for projectors. So be sure you get a roku or amazon stick to fix this. - I wish when you turned the projector turned on it would just default to the last input. But instead you will be brought to the main screen where you need to select the input again. It feels like an extra step that could be fixed with a software update. All and all I’m happy with this projector. The price is right and the quality is high. I don’t know if I’ll go back to using my 65 inch tv at this point. Lol

> 3 dayThis has been a GREAT projector for us. Our young family uses it all the time for streaming shows and movies, as well as for gaming. This is our first projector and I am super pleased with the resolution & don’t notice any lag with the audio or anything. I am really pleased with the sound that comes out of the projector, both in quality and volume. It was SUPER easy to get set up as well. Probably 5 or 6 months after buying it, we noticed a flaw developing in the picture (like a yellow spot). I soon found out that this sort of thing can happen if a projector is left on for long periods. I want to make it super clear that this was ENTIRELY my fault. Even though that was the case, I contacted Yaber customer service and have been blown away at how absolutely amazing they are! I have had 3 or 4 interactions with them over the course of getting my issue squared away. Each time they have seriously treated me like a king. It’s insane! I’m so glad that there are people and companies out there who still value people & customers. Again, this issue was totally my fault and they still offered to replace the unit at no cost if I returned the damaged unit and provided them with a tracking number. They have been prompt in their replies and always so courteous.
