> 3 dayVery happy with the quality and value overall. 2 things to note, the projector only “sees” the remote from the lens side of the camera, so you need to be in front of it and aiming back at it for it to work. Somewhat inconvenient but no big deal. Also, we had a very hard time getting the lens cap off the first time. It was pushed on so hard we were afraid we were going to break the lens assembly getting it off. Apparently so many people have had this problem there is a YouTube video on how to remove it. Look it up if you have as much trouble as we did. Just put it on much looser when you’re done with it from then on. Edit: Yaber promotes its sophisticated keystone image adjustment but it does not work properly. In front mode, you are able to adjust the digital zoom. If you change to side mode because you are projecting at an angle you are no longer able to use digital zoom. In my case, the picture size became way too big to project onto a screen. Contacted tech support, while they were very responsive, they confirmed that digital zoom will not work in side mode, only manual keystone adjustment. We bought this projector to use in 2 different setups, it is useless for one of the setups. Very disappointing. Great projector if youll only be shooting straight at a screen. If not, do not purchase.

> 3 dayI bought this projector to replace another cheaper one from Amazon. The Yaber V6 has greater brightness than the other brand, for only a few dollars more. I used it primarily in my garage which has one normal-sized window behind the projector, and smaller windows built into the garage door. During the day, with daylight shining through the windows, the projected image can be seen on the white-painted brick wall. At night the image is bright and clear. I cant wait to see the image pop when I install my retractable screen. As for features, the V6 is simple in design. Two HDMI, A/V, and USB input to choose from. The remote is simple lacking dedicated feature buttons like other brands. I mostly use it to power on/off, input selection, and volume control. I use an Amazon Firestick with the V6 and it works flawlessly. The sound volume and clarity are very good for a single speaker unit. The sound stays in sync with the picture, no refresh necessary. One of the biggest features of the V6 is the four corners digital keystone correction. You can install the projector on an angle then pull or push the corners of the image to the size you want. Very easy to use and adjust. Unlike the cheaper projectors that dont have digital keystone, those you have to place the projector exactly in front of what you are projecting onto. Another reason I returned the cheaper one. This Yaber V6 has greater illumination as you can see from the photo taken at night in my garage prior to the return of the other projector. The brightness and quality of the image are apparent, even when seen on a brick wall. The left image in the picture is the V6 with a 130ish projection. Getting closer to the wall you can see the pixels of the V6 are closer together than the cheaper projector. This results in a way better image quality, as you can see. Even though both projectors are 1080p capable, the V6 has a better LCD with less pixel spacing and obviously a brighter image. This brighter LCD does come with a small price of a little more cooling fan noise and heat being pulled. The fan noise is negligible over the program sound. The V6 has wifi included and I used it to upgrade the firmware. The cheaper projector didnt have the capability. This projector comes with a nice backpack case which I dont plan on using since I will be hanging the projector from the ceiling. I wouldve liked to see another accessory instead, maybe batteries for the remote? This V6 projector from Yaber is a great buy and value for the price when using the promotional coupon. I recommend getting one or gifting one for a large living room, workroom, play room, or even used outdoors at night. For a small bedroom, for example, this might be overkill since you can only reduce the size of the image to 60%

> 3 dayI think this is a great projector for the money. Easily and without any problems hooked up my Apple TV to one of the 2 HDMI inputs and paired my bluetooth headphone. I project the image to a wall about 9.5 ft away from the projector (i.e. no need for a screen) and, once the focus adjustment is made, the image is very sharp (especially when viewing 4K videos like those on Youtube). The contrast is very good even when lights are turned on near the projector. For picture adjustment there are a few preset options as well as user mode option where your individual (contrast, brightness, saturation, etc.) settings get saved. I did not quite understand why the hue could not be adjusted but even without that I was able to get a very decent picture. Sound quality is quite decent and does turn the room into a nice home theater but I suppose hooking up a (bluetooth) sound bar would make it even better especially for low frequency response (have not tried that yet). The fan is relatively quiet but still can be heard when there is no sound in the room but not noticeable when sound is being played back. The unit is very small and light weight. It comes with a nice zipper carrying bag allowing it to be easily and safely transported. Once you connect the projector to your wifi network and enable screen mirroring on your iPhone and select the projector, you can project your iPhone screen and this too worked for me just fine the very first time I tried it. I have not yet tried the USB inputs (nor see a need to). The remote requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) and is very small and works nicely. The instruction manual is pretty straightforward and accurate. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this product based on what I have seen so far. Note that this is my very first projector so I can not comment on how it compares to others in the market but, after performing some careful market research, I bought this unit due to its features (contrast ratio, bluetooth & wifi support, built-in sound quality, etc.), some nice reviews I read about its predecessor model that this unit improves upon and finally its reasonable price.

> 3 dayFor the value for money, this is an excellent projector. The display is excellent. The features are excellent. The picture is clear. There is a cover for the lens. The sound is reasonably good. I bought a M1+ Viewsonic and had to return and got this instead. In fact I have returned two projectors in the recent past that I bought on Amazon and then got this. I will keep this Yaber V6. However couple of things a buyer should know. 1. No battery back up. So power goes, this projector shutsdown. 2. Connecting to Android is not successful. I dont know if it will connect on oher Androids, but my Moto g power wont connect. 3. The keystone features are excellent, but it is manual. You have to go into settings and adjust - vertical and sides (all four sides). The keystone adjustment is versatile. Perfect. But like M1+ it is not automatic. 4. It is not cute small like Viewsonic M1+. It is bulky and so good for a portable stand or ceiling fixed viewing, in which case keystone etc. doesnt matter. Wifi works well. Blue tooth didnt connect to my Android, although it connected to my Mac. I really like the picture quality compared to the two previous projectors I bought. Although I would have got a gift if I put in 5 stars, I cannot do that. Now you know why it is 5 star for all the other reviews. Overall it is a good projector buy for your home theater, comparing the price and the performance.

> 3 dayI owned two of these for less than a month and returned both. The problem, from what Ive read from another verified purchase reviewer on here who did more research into this problem than I have, is that the polarizing filter on the lens goes bad on these after 30 or 40 hours, creating dark yellow-ish splotches in the picture. If you are having this problem, you will see these dark splotches clearly on the white start up/loading screen. The other thing I noticed is that the review that provided this very helpful information is no longer there and Ive heard the company has been offering people money to take down there reviews, so keep an eye out for that white loading screen to see if the polarizing filter is starting to degrade for you. While being a reasonably bright projector, this is by no means an 8500 lumen projector...actually, Im not sure what the L stands for LUX or lumens, but Ive worked with $20k 8500 lumen Panasonic projectors and this doesnt get as close to as bright. It is a bit suspect that it has gained 1000L since I bought the same model 2 months ago ( if you look at the listing for the gold version, youll see the original specs on the listing ). Also, no where do they specify what the “L” stands for as far as brightness goes and its not listed in the specs anymore. I had never heard of LUX before I started looking at lower end projectors...Ive also noticed looking again at low-end projectors in just the last month many of the LUX brightness measurement claims have disappeared from many of the low end projector specs, so probably look for the ones that list lumens for brightness because its the standard used by professionals and those measurements have not disappeared from the descriptions of those projectors. I bought this because Ive owned the Yaber Y31 for ten months, running it for 5 or 6 hours a day and it still looks great...it is a little dimmer & louder fan-wise than the V6, but solid, with a better image control menu interface with more keystoning options. If you are looking for something in this price range, that one has worked well for me so far, but after getting two bad projectors with the same problem from the same company, seeing the changes in the listing, and seeing the one solid critical review with pictures disappear, Im thinking I lucked out with my Y31...for now...so Im adverse to giving them more money...or the same money for a third time. So if you are looking to get a decent projector, the good ones seem to start around $500 or $600; I would consult the B & H website; theyve sold quality professional video gear for decades, if they stock it, it is probably worth buying; I bought the BenQ TH585 and it looks great.

Greater than one weekOK, I ended up keeping the Yaber V6 after I’d kicked myself for not learning a bit more about projectors before ordering. I was particularly frustrated to learn that a lumen is not a standardized unit. For example, a volt is a volt is a volt. If it wasn’t there’d be some nasty accidents but when it comes to lumens, for some reason there’s something other than the ANSI lumen and, not knowing this was my fault. I naturally assumed, the higher the lumens the brighter the image only to learn (after purchasing the Yaber V6) that 4000 lumens (ANSI) is way brighter than the 7500 lumens (LED/LCD...still not quite sure of the correct definition or how they arrived at the unit) that the Yaber has. I’ve since learned that 7500 lumens ANSI would be incredibly bright, way more than you’d need to watch something in broad daylight. Anyway, with that gripe out of the way, we use the Yaber V6 once the sun goes down outside with a 120” pull down screen. You can only just see the image before the sun goes down but the image is very good once the sun has gone down. Nice HD and one tip that maybe useful to some is: Bluetooth from your Firestick rather than from the projector. I ended up doing that as the lag was significantly reduced compared to Bluetoothing from the projector. The firestick, Bluetooth and using YouTube TV meant that all I had to do was put a power outlet in the ceiling, install the ceiling mount for the projector and hang the pull down screen. No other wiring required. All done for under $500, projector $211, screen $237, ceiling mount $19.99 and firestick $29.99. New power outlet was just a couple of bucks. So for the money it’s really quite an impressive set up (after the sun has gone down)

> 3 dayThis is a comparison review with the Yaber V3 and Yaber V6. At first I purchased the Yaber V3 and that projector is an amazing projector, my favorite actually, but because it was defective with the update, I returned it and bought this Yaber V6. The Yaber customer service is excellent though, and gave me an extra 10% discount for the inconveniences. Thank you Vicky, you are amazing!! Now for the review. The pros: The menu is user friendly and has a better interface. At 7500 lumens it is bright enough to see in a fully lit room. The colors are vibrant and more true to reality than other projectors. The speaker levels can be manually adjusted to increase bass, treble, pitch, background, to help with whatever youre using it for which is great! After adjusting levels to my preference, I compared the speakers to my JBL handheld bluetooth speaker and the on Yaber V6 speakers were better! (Which was really surprising). The focus focus ring keeps the focus from the center to the edge of the screen. Even when the 4-point key function isnt adjusted to be a perfect rectangular screen, the picture isnt distorted at all, which is nice. The cons: Its large, measuring at 9x10. Its a little heavy. The height adjuster doesnt help that much because it is so big, so you may need to put a book or object under the front like I did it you arent using a ceiling mount. It isnt a short throw projector, so in a 10.5 foot room it can only project a 90x 49 display, compared to the Yaber V3 that can project a 120x 60 display from the same distance. The fan is loud, but isnt annoying. It sounds like one of those large square floor fans that cost $20 on high speed. When you turn up the volume though it drowns out the noise of the fan. You cant manually adjust the colors. You can adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation, yet not the red/blue/green colors. Its a tiny flaw that could easily be changed, but its just a tiny flaw. The picture quality is pretty good, but you need to alter the picture quality to adjust for the pixelation. With the Yaber V3, I hardly needed to adjust the picture quality at all and it was true FHD1080p. The Yaber V6 isnt FHD, but it is probably 1080i. When I play my PS4 games, the quality depreciates dramatically to nearly 720p which is unacceptable. It can only track 30fps (frames per second) and not 60fps so motion is glitchy and detracts from the experience. The Yaber V6 is more expensive that the Yaber V3 with the Yaber costing $210 with a discount, compared to the Yaber V3 that costs $80-$90 with a discount. The quality of the Yaber V6 does not match its value. Like I said, I had a phenomenal projector (Yaber V3) before buying this Yaber V6 so this one is the 2nd place brother in my opinion. Overall, If I didnt have a better projector to compare this to, Id think it was a great projector. Honestly, Id suggest the Yaber V3 over this Yaber V6 any day. Youll save more money and have better picture quality, short throw distance, and versatility in a projector.

> 3 dayI was looking for a budget friendly projector to use temporarily until my projector room is finished. The price of the Yaber V6 fit the bill of what I was looking for so I took the chance. Setup is very simple and quick. Picture quality is good but not amazing. I have the projector set up about 15 from the wall creating a 120 screen. I am also using a cheap cloth type screen also purchased from Amazon so that may have a little to do with the overall picture quality. I have the projector setup in a basement with minimal ambient light. When the overhead lights are turned on the image becomes a little washed out but is still watchable. Best viewed in a dark space. My only complaint is there was a black artifact in the image around the right center of the screen. It was clearly something on the inside. Rather than returning the projector I opened it up and found a small sliver of white plastic stuck to the screen on the inside. I removed it and now its good to go. I cant speak to the longevity of the projector as I have only had it for about 2 weeks. Overall I would recommend to someone who is looking for a cheap projector but would caution that it most likely would not stand up against a more expensive mainstream brand.
