Ive had 4 different projectors in the sub $300 range and here is why this one is the best 1.Built in android OS! Its great to have streaming services built in! 2. Clear picture! Has native 1080p and supports 4k 3. Digital focus Had a little hiccup and customer service was also wonderful. So nice to have a device with everything built in that I need!

for similar price, this little projector performs greater than a unit i previously had with native 720P. this projector displays in native 1080p and upscales to 4K. the features that impress me most are its comprehensive 4P+4D keystone adjustments and on-screen focus wheel. it operates fairly quietly (in our setup, it sits forward from our seating area). the on-board speaker is surprisingly loud for its size and pretty capable indoors, but when outdoors, some fidelity gets lost in the open air. i connect it to my presentation speaker via 3.5mm audio port. i had no issues when connecting wirelessly and updating its firmware as mentioned in other reviews. still, i dont use its onboard streaming apps and havent downloaded any additional apps since i mainly use a 4K Fire stick via the HDMI port. brightness is a handicap for a projector this size and doesnt compete with indoor ambient lights, so best viewed in dim lighting or at dusk/night if using outdoors. note: it DOES NOT have on-board controls other than power on/off. to operate the units various functions, you have to use the included remote, which conveniently uses 3 AAA batteries. a broken remote essentially renders the projector inoperable, unfortunately.

This projector is everything its described to be but I dont think the benefits of having Android Operating System are expressed or promoted as much as it should be. It really makes this projector work with all the features I want without any extra equipment like a HDMI Media Stick. The Media Stick is technically built-in because with the Android OS. I just connected to the internet through my wifi router and selected Android store and started downloading all the apps Id have to download on a Media stick anyway. Saved me time so I could get to watching sooner. The remote is hard to use for keyed data entry and scrolling the App Store. I already bought a micro Bluetooth keyboard with a tiny mouse pad on it here on Amazon, I just need to find it and connect it since theres a settings section for a keyboard in the Projector settings. Everything to make operation easier seems to have been thoughtfully addressed my the manufacturer I cant think of anything missing that I might need. Speaking of the manufacturer, I had a defective unit that needed replacement and the warranty exchange was simple and easy and quick once I got the process going. Absolutely satisfying warranty program from Vimgo. Summing all that up, it is my overall opinion this projector tops other projectors for the versatility of having the Android System built in. If you stream from apps for most of movie time like me this is ready to Plug & Play nicely with Netflix, etc. No unauthorized copy protected phone screen mirroring errors to irritate me or extra media hardware that I need to spend more money on jusy to enjoy the content I want. 5 stars for me. Im old enough to remember the first, large projectors that were horrifically expensive but worked well for personal theater rooms. Cut to today and Im just amazed at how this little projector throws a crisp, clear image - a large image - onto a wall/screen. It is also a very easy projector to use and the sound from its speakers is not bad, considering. I happen to have an awesome speaker that I bluetooth to this projector. Now, the one thing I wish is that it came with a hard or soft carry case as this is a very portable projector. At the least, I would like to see a hinged hard cover that would protect the lens when not in use. Other than that, I am very impressed with this small projector for indoor daily use or for outdoor events (would need a screen or side of a building).

I dont understand the complaints about sound. Ive tried seven different projectors in the same price range and this one has the best sound. If you want better sound, it is so easy to purchase and synch the Bluetooth on this projector. If this continues to be dust proof, Im purchasing another one. Packs a big punch for a compact device. Mine is connected to a Divoom mini Bluetooth speaker and you can feel the sound!
