Protimeter BLD5365 Surveymaster Dual-Function Moisture Meter

This is a great product, but it’s just too expensive. I use mine frequently so the risk of damage is high. Also, I keep mine on my tool belt all day and the cap comes off OFTEN! When the cap comes off, the prongs are exposed and they’re very sharp. I’ve drawn blood multiple times.

After using the Tramex moisture meter encounter plus for about five years I decided to upgraded to a dual function moisture meter. It certainly is a different feel from the Tramex, but it is well made and accurate when it comes to measuring moisture in various building materials.

Nicest thing about this tool, very little guess work. Two options to use, use both whenever you can. I carry it with me on every inspection - through the entire inspection.

This new Survey Master Protimeter is replacing my old Survey Master that started acting up after 10 years of use in my home inspection business. The new model is bulkier than the old but is working well. Time will tell if it has the same longevity as the old model.

To start with, Ive been using the same Protimeter Surveymaster for 7 Years as a professional inspector. The cap stays on just fine. If you spend $600 on a tool, you ought to handle it with care. It works perfectly but you need to read the directions and fully understand how it works and the proper way to use it.

I am a home inspector and use this meter daily. This is the best meter I have ever owner. It is very easy to use and very accurate. If your in the market for a moisture meter. Then this is the one!!!!!!!

Ive been using it for a few months now. I use it to measure rising dump in historical buildings. It does it job flawlessly. Great tool!

Fantastic !! I like it better then the last modle. More profesional looking. My first day I sold a 32k job using it :) Found seepage all the way around a home from sprinklers .
