Protimeter BLD5365 Surveymaster Dual-Function Moisture Meter

I have noticed that depending on how I hold it the moisture reading will vary dramatically, even with the pad in the same position on the surface. It seems if my hands on anywhere on the handle the reading spikes, but if I just use a couple fingers to hold it in the readout area I get a lower reading.

This is my second Protimeter. Both of the units exceed all of my expectations. I recommend it highly.

Nicest thing about this tool, very little guess work. Two options to use, use both whenever you can. I carry it with me on every inspection - through the entire inspection.

This device has beyond impressed me. Very easy to use and convenient.

Excellent tool for non-destructive detection of potential water damage in drywall and wood floors

Good meter -- I have had several of the earlier models. The only drawback is it has a rather large footprint. Probably okay for homes, but some vessels have many smaller areas. And, the pin cover dislodges easily.

This meter is just what the professionals need and use. This is the third one I own and it is just as capable as the first one. A great product. The tool was delivered ahead of schedule too!
