> 3 day*EDIT* After using this in my closet for 3 months, Im happy to report it has sucked in over half of its open volume with water. I could not be happier with this product and Id highly recommend it to anyone with a musty smell anywhere in your home or vehicle. This little thing truly is the miracle worker I was hoping for! Buy it, you wont regret it! Its a moisture absorber. My master bath closet was smelling a little musty. Popped one of these in there and Ive checked it pretty much every day and I see no moisture its sucked in, but my closet smells half as musty lol. Its not a terrible product, just isnt working the miracle I guess was too much to ask of it.

> 3 dayThis product does not work. Upon receiving these, i opened the packaging following the directions. It has been over two weeks and there is no moisture accumulated at all. On the contrary, my damp rid ones has almost an inch of liquid already. Save your money, don’t buy this.

> 3 dayI had no idea how much moisture was in my closets in the house. There was always a little smell to fresh laundry after putting it away..I originally was searching for an odor absorber and stumbled upon this item. Im on my second batch now. I recommend getting this even if you dont think you have moisture in small spaces, odds are you do.

> 3 dayThese work just like the expensive ones Ive bought locally. Ive put them in my closets and my pantry. They are absorbing moisture, which you can see in the containers. This is a really good deal on these so you can use them in multiple locations or always have them on hand!

> 3 dayI have been having issues with mildew in my closet for a while now. I tried these moisture absorbers and they are a game changer. It’s amazing how much water has collected in the two months I’ve been using them. And when the crystals are gone, you can just dispose of the container in the trash.

> 3 dayHumid environments it works great Im sure. It ended up leaving white dust residue all over my house. Then again I do live in a drier climate so that could be it.

Greater than one weekI set these out and waited. It took a couple of weeks to see water in the reservoir (compared to bags I had hanging which seemed to be collecting more moisture). These work great. The shape makes them easy to conceal, you can pop them on shelf, under sinks, etc. What I think sets them way ahead of the brand I typically buy, is the lining on top. You remove a plastic lining, and there is a white filter-looking covering (you then put back the slatted lid). I hate the other brand, when you can see the materials inside. I dont know, just didnt like. Also, if you moved it at all, you might spill the beads etc. This prevents that. Nice feature. I suspect it would also help retain any odors as well, but not sure about that. So, these work, the price is right, and its nice having extras around. We got this box a little before a hurricane, when we ended up with no power in 90 degrees. I was able to set one of these in each room and worry a little less about mildew. For what its worth, in a home prone to that, we didnt see or smell any of mildew/mold after a week of high humidity and no AC. I would guess these played a role in that for sure. Good stuff!
