I’m an old lady. I’ve used this soap since I was 25 am now 73. I had very oily skin and this soap kept the oil in check. Over the years I’ve tried so many other things on my face but I keep going back to this pure soap. My skin in beautiful and I have very few lines. I have often been told I look 15 years younger. I have had oily skin my entire life. I used Pro-Active as a teen. As I matured, my skin did as well. The Pro-Active started drying my face out too much as I entered my 20’s. I still had acne-prone skin and regular face soaps didn’t stop the acne or dried the skin too much. I asked my doctor what he recommended. He suggested Purpose. I have used the bar soap now for 20+ years. As long a I don’t skip a washing, my skin is acne-free and moist. My skin is sensitive and can burn (or get a rash) with some soaps. For this reason, I use purpose also on the rest of the body. I have never had a reaction to this soap. It lathers up well enough that I used it for shaving as well. I highly recommend Purpose.

The store where Ive bought this soap for years quit carrying it. Thank goodness Amazon carried it. I will be back for more in 5 or 6 months.

Ive used purpose soap since I was a teen with really bad acne and it was recommended by my dermatologist. It helped get my acne under control back then and it is still my preferred face soap now

I tried several different brands of face and body soap over the years and was hesitant to use this brand because of the cost. After using Purpose soap I found that the rash near my neck disappeared and my ankles stopped itching. The bar soaps that I was using previously were very popular, costly and highly recommended by dermatologists. Unfortunately, those brands dried my skin too much and caused itching around my ankles. Hydrocortisone cream on my ankles did not help with the itching. Purpose soap seems to cause a little dryness on my hands and arms but I can live with that because it cured all of the other problems, e.g., no rashes or itching. The scent from Purpose soap is mild and it dissipates shortly after showering. My dermatologist recommended this soap 30 years ago and I should have listened to him. I will continue to use Purpose soap because its perfect for me.
