Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar, 6-Ounce Bars (Pack of 6)

This soap cleans but is not harsh. It was recommended to me years ago by a dermatologist and I have been using it ever since.

A Dr. recommended Purpose over 25 years ago & am still using it for face as well as body. It lathers great & doesn’t leave your skin feeling all dried out. Amazon is one the only places you can easily get it. I highly recommend it for all types of skin.

I have been using this soap for decades as I am highly allergic to all other soaps. This no odor soap cleans my face well without drying it out. No slimy hard to rinse feel here. I will buy this forever.

Great gentle face cleanser! Hard to find these bars soap in stores. The liquid cleanser in the pump is nice too. Doesnt sting your eyes if you accidentally get it in your eyes like the bar soap. I have used this soap for 7 years (or longer) and now my husband does too. He actually asked for it if we dont have a bar out. I would have to say this must be universal soap for the whole family. I have very sensitive skin and my husband has slight oily skin. We both love it!

I have been using this soap since I was 40. My skin was oily. I am much older, and my skin is now part oily part normal; Purpose BAR soap still keeps my skin clean and clear, not dry. This year, I developed terrible milia (tiny bumps) on both cheeks when I started using Cerave gentle skin cleanser. My friends noticed the bumps. I went back to Purpose BAR soap and after TWO days, the milia cleared! Reading the low-rating reviews for Cerave, I learnt from a reviewer that the ingredient glycerin causes milia. Purpose BAR soap has glycerin listed as a 4th ingredient, and Cerave lists Glycerin as 2nd ingredient. I now use a face moisturizing cream with little or no glycerin after washing. So, if your skin is normal, oily or semi oily, or milia prone, use this bar soap.The LIQUID Purpose gentle cleanser wash has ingredients different from those of the Purpose bar soap. I dont use it.
