I generally oppose clipping a cats nails, and would never declaw one. One of my old cats, has gotten slower and he no longer wears down his rear foot nails, they were getting long and hindering his walking, and catching clumps from the litter box. 1st i trimmed just the really long nails, he was walking better with cleaner feet. as the nails grew out, I did all the rear nails, for an even better result. in the past I have used a dog clipper on dogs, with good result but some crunch, not an issue with these on a cat. These are sharp, cut fast and smooth, clear easy to follow directions on the package. 1st time I tacod him in a towel, second time just a nice hug was all he needed. these are for cat sized nails though I would bet work with other similar nail sized pets.

These are quite expensive and not remotely ergonomic for my size 10 hands. However, they make a much cleaner and easier cut than anything else Ive tried, and thats what really matters to me and my cat.

I have an 8 week old kitten that insists on climbing up my legs, let me tell you what a huge difference these clippers made. Of course I had to wrap him in a towel, giving me about 30 seconds to get this done. I had bigger clippers for our dog that worked but were hard to handle. I then used people nail clippers, but it didnt cut smoothly. His little nails literally grow back in days, so it was time to buck up and buy something. Glad I went with these Necoichi clippers, they were so easy to handle and really sharp so the nails cut perfectly clean, got the front paws done in one session and the rear paws will be next. Ill have to look into their other products, since clearly they put out nice quality.

If youve ever tried to cut your cats nails, you know its not easy, especially with those awkward clippers that are out there. Throw everything away youve ever used before and use these. Amazing!!! Easy and Stress-free!!!

Have a very very old cat whose nails do not wear down - at all. Tried regular clippers but nipped her once too many times. She squirms so its hard not too. Was ready to take her into a cat groomer to get it done then I tried these. It still takes some work because she squirms but with the safe guards built into these clippers, I dont nip her anymore which makes us both happy.

Amazing cat nail clippers that work like a dream! Smooth like butter where you can’t even hear the clipping sound when the nail is cut. Also doesn’t cause splinters. Highly recommend!

I take the Made in Japan seriously. If I got a knock-off, whoever copied made a great product. It works very well. I kept telling the cat : Made in Japan - only the best quality for you, mister. He did not seem to be sold on the idea. He is a screamer by nature and the defensive wailing starts before I even get a chance to touch him for his mani-pedi. But these are quick on the job, so the torture is done with in no time.

I have nothing to compare other clippers to, but these clippers were very sharp and made this task super easy and quick. My cat usually hates getting her nails cut at the vet, but due not seem to mind me doing it.
