I was reluctant, to be honest. The price seemed too reasonable. The cat paw prints put me off a bit. I needed these to trim birds nails. But theyre perfect in every way. Clean. Easy to handle even while trying to hold a little bundle of feathers still. And the clip was effortless and clean. Youd have to know how important this Little Guy is to me to fully understand my concern, and believe me, if there had been even the slightest bit of trouble, Id post. Just the thought of possibly causing him ANY discomfort had me terrified. But the manicure needed to be done and avian vets are so scarce so, it was me or nobody. So? We did what we had to do. And YES, I DO recommend these clippers. And I imagine theyd be as great for cats or dogs too!

I have an old cat who’s claws don’t retract full anymore. She is like ripping Velcro when walking on carpet and bedding. I’ve been using cuticle clippers and these are way sharper and easier to use. I’ve been clipping her claws for a few years now, so while she is not thrilled with the procedure I can tell she’s much more comfortable afterwards when walking. I will warn you, if your cat does not let you play with their toes already you might not want to spend the money as cats can be very fussy and aggressive when trimming their claws. Please read up on how to safely trim your cats claws, if you cut to short and cut the quick you could seriously injure your sweet kitty.

Ive never had a cat before, and never trimmed pet nails at all. This clippers are easy to hold and have good, clear use instructions on the back of the packaging. I didnt get bitten or scratched at all when I trimmed my cats nails.

Wow, 5 stars deserved. I had inherited an old pair of guillotine-style nail clippers from my mom. Every time I used them, it was very stressful for my kitty. I bought these after all the good reviews and they are well deserved. I was able to quickly trim her nails while she was sleeping, no complaints. They are so sharp that they cut the nail swiftly and without force. Highly recommend for a less stressful nail session.

I love these nail clippers. The design allows usage from any angle. The blades are nice and sharp. They cut my cats nails very easily without splitting them. It made the process effortless. It was much more comfortable for my cat too.

Looked for high quality clippers to trim my cat’s nails. This one seemed to be the best I could find, perhaps bc made in Japan. Remember to cut the nail inline, not from the side. I found from underneath is best. These trimmers cut the nails very precisely and effortlessly.
