These arent really very expensive to replace, but they are notorious for breaking at the swivel portion of the ring. Python could resolve this if they would make the plastic in this area just a bit thicker. This seems to be characteristic of all of these types of parts, regardless of who manufactures them. Still gave it five stars, though, as it lasted 6 years before breaking.

Fits perfect

This valve on my Aqueon broke after 6 months so needed a replacement. As this looks exactly like the Aqueon, I purchased thinking that it would work, but the threads are totally different.

Better made than the original piece

I needed the male, but only because Python sucks at accurate descriptions for their parts. 5 stars because the replacements are same-as quality as the original purchase years ago.
