> 24 hourThe data received from my Financial Institution had savings data combined with checking data. I only wanted checking data, but the program will not let me delete savings data from the file, or reassign it to my savings register. Tech support disconnected me twice, spent over two hours on the phone and this issue was not resolved. Intuit customer support is very poor & verrry slow.

> 24 hourPurchased this software because I got a deal with a special price break. I have a very small business, so a purchase of several hundred dollars needs to pay back quickly. The set up took a lot longer than I had anticipated. The customer service was no help - couldnt answer my questions. I ended up spending 6 hours to get everything right - another day wasted. Ive got myself stuck with this now and will use for a few months since Ive spent the money, but Im going to look for alternatives in the meantime. If this is Quick Books, I need to find Lightning Fast Books somewhere.

> 24 hourUpgraded to 2005 with all expectations that things would work as they always did. Imagine my surprise when, creating the first 2005 invoice, I was asked for an e-mail address for the customer. Yes, theres a cancel, but it cancels the invoice. You cant get to the customer profile to change the preferred method of sending when the e-mail window is there. Yes, you can enter your own e-mail address and later delete them all from the Send function. Waste of time. Theres no way to globally change all clients. Im now about half way through changing 1200 customer profiles. Who at Intuit thought it would be a good idea to default customer profiles to e-mail invoices? Who tested this and said Wow, good idea. Stupid!!!

> 24 hourThis is probably one of the best examples of the worst kind of company! They got where they are because they gave small business an accounting program, and in return, small businesses gave their loyalty and their dollars, and now Intuit abuses those same customers by forcing upgrades they dont need and often cant afford in light of the skyrocking cost increases. The real kicker is, if you dont upgrade, they TAKE AWAY PROGRAM FUNCTIONALITY from the version youve already bought and paid for(tax tables, email capabilities, to name two). I despise this company and their product, and after 14 yrs., weve bent over enough and were DONE! They expect our 5 person company to upgrade to the next version, which would require an upgrade of our operating systems in order to be compatible, PLUS the cost of another payroll subscription , costing us hundreds and hundreds of dollars we cant afford and dont need to spend! Ive already found a shareware program that will restore the function that allows for emailing invoices to customers (STOLEN by Intuit when we didnt upgrade) and am currently searching for some way to import a tax table (also STOLEN by Intuit when we didnt upgrade). If I can find that, we can keep the version were using for years as it suits our needs just fine. We should have the right to make that decision and not have it result in the crippling of a program weve already bought. Intuit makes Microsoft look like warm, fuzzy teddy bears, and I think its time we all get together and raise a big enough fuss that their business practices will finally come under the same kind of scrutiny Microsoft has been subject to for years. I dare say wed see some changes.....at the very least, an end to the theft of our property!!

> 24 hour...I just installed quickbooks 2005, and have attempted to transfer my Quicken 2003 to Quickbooks 2005. The transfer will not copy beyond March 7, 2005. I called Customer Service and waited in excess of 20 minutes the first two times, only to be cut off...the third time I spoke to a rep after 17 minutes who told me I would need to purchase support for this problem....I think not! I may have wasted $229, but I will not waste any more money, or time with the so-called customer service. More like customer rip-off!
